Okay here is the last last last last last post of today 🤣 I was going to make a Proko excercise a week ago but instead drew the flower bouquet right in front of me.

Here is the last post today! 😂 I had so much stuff to catch up on. I found one of my old magical girl designs. I think I was around thirteen when I drew this.

I always found it an underwhelming design and never considered redrawing it but it was a lot of fun and actually a really cute design! 🥰❤️ After a first sketch where I did not know how to add the wings I made some silly ones that I really enjoy! ✨

A month ago it was one of my best friends birthday so I made her a picture of her as a faerie. These are the sketches.

I was going to make a drawing with paint or copics and make a digital colour sketch but in the end I was drawing so wel that I ended up finishing the digital drawing and printing it for her. Sometimes we get in the flow while working 🔥🔥🔥

Here is the most recent excercise I made for Proko drawing basics course. It is a month old and I have not had the energie to do the next excercise. We had to draw using different line hierarchy. The rhino we had to trace. I am suposed to do more of these but I can’t muster the energie so I will go to the next excersize instead.

In the drawing basics course we got some simple excercises to practice good line work. I made these sitting outside in the sun with a nice drink ☺️ I miss the park summer bar we have. Luckily there should be a winter bar in the same park this year!

Took me a while to get back into posting. Here are some excercises that are from more than a month ago for the Proko drawing basics course. I made the animal design excercise again and it was a big struggle. Here are the first attempts where I tried to draw an ostrich.

Another Proko excercise. We had to simplify drawing refference we were given. You can see again that I am more used to drawing people 😂 Here we had to sketch really loose but I think I made it a bit too messy. The feeling of pencil on the very cheap paper is hateful but drawing in balpoint is alright. I can’t wait to move on to the more expensive sketchbook.

In the next exercise we had to design an animal using refference. The first 3 are drawn from the refference and the other are my own designs. I am not really happy with these but I will try again after watching the demo 🔥

I am a bit behind on posting here 😂 I have some more Proko exercises! These are the CSI sketches from after watching the demo. I should spend more time on these and draw a bit slower and have some beter and more confident lines.

These next drawings are from the challenge. I did draw these from photo so technically I already failed the challenge. I have also missed two days already but when you are a working adult it is to be expected 🥲 Proko said to draw more or longer than you would normally do and I am definitely doing that!

I am doing a two week challenge om proko for the drawing basics course. We need to draw from real life for two weeks a page each day. The drawings should be line drawings so sadly no value 🥲 I am really struggling with these but that must means it is good to do this more! 🔥🔥🔥 Here are the first four days and a collage of foto’s I took for the feedback. I started the challenge on 19/07/2024.

Figure drawings from June and July. I did it! Finished all the 433 drawings! I had a lot of struggles along the way but I am glad I did this. In the end I did not really improve a lot but I’m not taking any classes on figure drawing so that is to be expected. I have a proko figure drawing course but it is not my priority so it will have to wait.
