Imagine being a foreigner visiting the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf, Kakashi Hatake

You and your comrade, Kofi, are from a far away land with a whole new culture, style, and language and were visiting the Hidden Leaf Village as was custom every few years for diplomatic relations. Normally the leader of your village would go but because your leader, who was also your mother, was too busy and frankly didn’t want to go, you went instead

You hadn’t been to the Hidden Leaf Village before, so everything was mesmerizing to you from the way that everyone dressed, the smells, how different everyone looked and the climate. It was much cooler here than the humid and hot, tropical like weather you were used to

Now while you were busy being mesmerized, you didn’t really pay attention to the stares you and Kofi received

Whether it was a judgy look from some of the older women or being ogled at by a few men towards you, or women and some men looking at Kofi in astonishment

Only when Kofi said something about the stares in your language is when you started paying attention more

You had heard that this village didn’t really that too kindly to outsiders but you were still shocked by the reactions of so many of the villagers. But at the same time, looking from their perspective, you could see why they would be ogling.

For one, you and Kofi, much like most of the people in your village had deep dark brown skin that almost glowed in the sun. You also had your hair in locs with beads and other trinkets on them and he proudly wore his in an afro. You were also a bit taller in comparison to the people here and then the fact that compared to their conservative dress, they must think you both were hardly dressed.

You wore an outfit that was meant to perfectly represent your village. You had on a yellow bralette like top made of silk that showed your midsection, with a colorful skirt in yellow, blue, white, and red to represent three Goddesses your village paid utmost respect for: Oshun the Goddess of love and fertility, Yemaya the Goddess of healing, sorcery and the mother of all, and Oya the warrior Goddess of transformation and protector of women

Kofi was dressed in a toga of the same colors and compared to the men around us, he was much taller, more muscular and he had a sleeve of tattoos on his left arm

In your eyes, you were quite surprised at how modestly the women here were dressed and it seemed that they were the primary caretakers of their children and household which differs from your matriarchal village

You ignored the stares until you finally reach the building where the Hokage is waiting

You and Kofi walk into the office with utmost confidence but you all but stop in your tracks once you see how handsome and different he looked. Or at least you could guess that he may be handsome, half of his face was covered by a mask but his silver hair was just so intriguing to you

“Hello, I’m Kakashi Hatake.” He says in my language with a slight accent that you can’t help but find cute. But you’re also impressed that he bothered at all to learn some of your language.

“Nice to meet you, I am Y/n and this is Kofi.” You say this time in his language and he gives a genuine smile or at least that’s what you think as you see his eyes squint

Kakashi’s POV

He finds your accent charming and is impressed/relieved that you also speak his language so well

He also finds you stunning…. And tries not to let his eyes linger on your body too long. Especially not at your breasts, whose nipples were erect against your top or your long moisturized, smooth legs. But you didn’t seem to mind or pay in much attention.

He’d already read about customary dress and traditions in your village and made a conscious effort to speak mainly to you when discussing diplomacy as you’re next in line as chief and your village is woman led

He can’t help but notice how well your golden jewelry stands out against your skin, how intricate your hairstyle was or how interesting a person you were personality wise. It was almost like he forgot Kofi was in the room with y’all

He maintains his composure throughout the entire meeting despite how he feels and hopes that he did a great job at doing so because the last thing he wanted was for you to feel uncomfortable or creeped out by him

Little did he know that Kofi is quite perspective and was going to tell you all about the lingering stares, visible gulps and almost undetectable nervous ticks.

People don't know what x reader is nowadays huh? X reader is when you the author allow your readers to define and choose a character's appearance and name, this includes race, body, eyes, hair, hair, texture, height, name, and more.

These stories be having x reader when in the book they put “Y/n has pale skin, is petite, and has blue eyes” if you have a description of a character it is no longer x reader it is x OC(Original Character) I don't know why writers do this because the only thing you can pick in these “x reader” is your name it is very annoying as a young black woman thinking I can enjoy a favorite fiction character x reader story and I get hit with “and I can feel my pale skin blush” or “I had to look up at him because of my height”.

It's misleading and it honestly turned me off wanting to read from white authors who write x-reader stories, this happens the most tho on Wattpad.

Just put that the book is x original character that's it so people can enjoy it more, it's not that hard please, and thank you🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤.
