A. Remy and her fanbase are the most problematic thing that happened in RC fandom

Not only she is rude to people being realistic/critical about her writing, but also clearly xenophobic and arrogant. I will never forgive her for the fact that she allows artists to draw people of color like this... Why making stories only about them – and their religion... – at all if she can't do any real research and figure out what she should be writing about?

Im also annoyed by the fact that SOTCN has no plot and too many holes in it. How does Livius know about Evthys' presence in that dream, if the dream did not belong to him, but to his ex? And what is generally known about the disease and why don't we hear anything about it? Why buy information about it to find out only the general features that we already heard about in previous chapters?.. It seems like the author herself just kind of threw the whole arc of disease to concentrate on Evthys' runaway.

KFS is weird, also. i am very concerned about the way Remy portrays the atmosphere in the story. The dynamics of relationship between Indians and British are so unclear? At one point they are very normal about presence of the whites, and Devi is so okay with marrying Ian even though they allegedly making plans and so on. I just mean that she has no thoughts other than couple of phrases in the beginning and we see very little of real relationships and historical accurate circumstances. And I think that you should be responsible for portrayal of the whole CULTURE and the least you can do is to make it less fetishized and inaccurate.

The way Remy is fully aware of what shes doing but purposefully ignores the amount of complaints our fandom has. She listens to her russian-speaking followers who do nothing but blindly admire her work without thinking about the representation she gives. And when someone point out on her mistakes she gets mad , subtly aggressive. If you know russian you can just take a look on her telegram channel and replies shes gives. Its arrogant and kind of disrespectful because the rejection of your own mistakes and the eternal justification and blame on others shows your true attitude towards your readers.

My main complaint is only about how illiterate she writes, how much she takes on herself and how she doesn't give a fuck about other cultures. And the fact that so many people love her and then misunderstand POC makes it so much worse

can we please talk about rc/alice giving the option to now have a ‘white’ volot? why are we catering to racists now pls? Seeing that has left a bitter taste in my mouth. If RC wants western money, then you must cater to western needs. That includes black sprites for love interests btw that don’t get sidelined to hell👍🏽 Volot’s canon appearance will always be as a black man to me. This sets such a dangerous precedent. Mark my words they’re gonna start demanding for all black/east & south asian love interests to be turned to white. This is a win to them and those freaks on VK are already celebrating for ‘being heard’. POC being good enough for RC to explore but then they’ll slap in Eurocentric looks to cater to their white fanbase. So we’re good enough to use as a basis for a story but not good enough to be romanced in one while retaining our ACTUAL looks, blue eyes be damned? Alright then 👍🏽

why is it in the year of 2024 poc and esp black players have to deal w racists throwing a hissy fit over a black LI? I was genuinely surprised to see the shit a certain portion of the Russian fandom has been throwing towards the masked priest in Alice’s new story, crying that it’s not ‘accurate’ when we have Amala and Devi w light coloured eyes ?

There’s a whole ass disclaimer saying that it’s not meant to be accurate n it’s inspired by slavic mythology + culture. If it was meant to be accurate then maybe I’d get the hysteria but nowhere has it been stated that it’s true to form?

Coming from the BG3 and Dragon Age fandom where Wyll (a black warlock) was consistently shat upon and had less content than the fan favourite Astarion, his VA receiving abuse and now seeing how Davrin, a black elf is already being sidelined in favour of the others (as well as being compared to Wyll because apparently two black characters can’t have their own arcs and identities without being compared to each other)—seeing this outrage on a MOBILE GAME is insane to me!!!!

Do these people realise that they don’t have to romance the priest at all? Hell, if they choose a white MC, their family will be white and majority of the village, excluding Ozar’s fam can fit into their headcanon?

I get wanting to see yourself n ur culture represented in a game + I understand people have been wanting a realistic slavic story for a while but to begrudge the devs for including a black, brown and asian MC plus Ozar and the priest is crazy n I think people that are outraged enough to make racist remarks need to touch some fucking grass .

I’m tired of seeing black LIs in games constantly be sidelined as if they’re lesser even when their stories n arcs are so moving. We don’t know shit ab the priest yet, the story just started. If you gave it a chance w/o the moral outrage, who knows? He might even surprise you 🫶🏽

I went on Instagram and saw the two little trailers for the new story. Tell me why on the post with the black man seeming to be the li people are already calling the book boring.

Some won't admit it but I will whenever the stories in this game don't focus on white li's some fans get bored quickly. They did it to Time Catcher and now Garden of Eden. You guys claim it's boring and y'all can't understand when they have the most understandable plot in Romance Club.

Someone even had the nerve to bring up Song of the Crimson Nile not having an update for next month and the fact a new story is on the way...THE STORY JUST HAD AN UPDATE A MONTH AGO. The author has to deal with two popular stories with two demanding fanbases. She is taking time for herself which gives yall time to diamond farm, gain achievements, start/finish stories, and get clothing.

The Russian fandom is OBSESSED with Christian (romance him idc but don't gaslight anybody who doesn't like him) and sees nothing wrong with him or why Indian readers are upset. They kept on screaming it's just fiction and that they shouldn't complain. If it's just fiction why do they get mad when they see diverse li's or mc's?? Pls, touch grass.

This is all based on episode 10. The scene where Vyxaria suspects that someone is watching her, along with the conversation Vyxaria had with Threxio/Threxia about Kang being possibly enchanted by a powerful demon, is confirmation that Vyxaria was definitely being watched and followed by a more powerful demon that has taken the form of Xantheia. Once Vincent realizes that Vyxaria is in danger, he’ll try to teleport; however, since Vyxaria placed the blood diamond under Threxio/Threxia’s bed as a prank, it’ll make things much harder. I do think that Vincent will put the pieces together, and he might meet Threxio once he teleports to his apartment and tells him that Vyxaria is in danger, which will lead to them or only Vincent heading to her location in order to save her.

I just watched a tiktok of Will Poulter talking about the lack of fine dining restaurants specializing in African cuisines, and how only 4 Michelin stars have ever been held by Black chefs. I feel like this fact would be such an interesting addition to the Sydney wants a star plot line and considering how their first menu drew so heavily on Carm’s Italian culture it would be nice to see a future menu drawing from Syd’s Nigerian/west African heritage.

Now on to something entirely too personal. HBO, please hire black women to do black hair. Like the Bailey sisters have been on this earth long enough for you not to hate crime Rhaena and Laenor. Baela and Laena suffer from the white mom with mixed daughters' agenda. Corlys has his buss down, side part, lace front but it sits that way because Steve, the actor, is bald. There isn't a clear part in sight for the richest house in Westeros. I don't understand why the Velaryons have ash-gray roots. With Addam, Alyn, and Nettles dawning on us soon please do better. Some thoughts for your labour ahead.

Utilize the Bailey sisters and their contributions to styled locs for Rhaena’s sake.

2. Cut Baela’s hair. For her sake focus on braids and beads.

3. Allow her to usher in a wave for the girls with her appearance. Nettles would gag them.

All in all, I hope the stylists use their time off to hire black people. Entire stories could've been told with Laena, Rhaena, and Baela’s hair on the show, same with Corlys and Laenor but instead, we went with inspired choices that fell flat with the execution. Locs are some of the most versatile styles and curls are stunning. Hair, especially textured hair care and styling is a labor of love and I hope it's shown in upcoming seasons.
