I’ve noticed that a lot of Star Wars blogs use current Earth slang and curses such as “Fuck” and “bitch” which do not tend exist in the Star Wars universe. With this in mind, I decided to make a handy resource of some of the curses and slang that are available. For a full list, click HERE

__WEAKNESSES___

Despite being one of the most powerful Sith who ever lived and being seeming untouchable. He is, in fact, not invincible and has various weaknesses that one can use to their advantage if there lucky and cautious.

Nihilus’s power is also his greatest weakness. He is dependant on the Force and needs to feed on the Force itself to maintain his strength and to stay off his hunger. His hunger will inevitably return far more significant than before, and he will become feral, desperate, and weak. He will feed on anyone and anything near him just to sate his hunger.

Strong enough minds can withstand his mental abilities and invasions.

Too much usage of his most potent Force abilities will drain him and will risk causing his hunger to return.

Powerful Force-sensitive and users of equal strength and power will be able to match and even defeat Nihilus.

Other wounds in the Force like Nihilus, wither it be a person or an object, possess the ability to withstand his Force powers and can defeat him.

Mighty Force artifacts of the Light Side of the Force possess the potential of weakening his connection to the Dark Side and can destroy him.

___LIGHTSABER COMBAT___

Darth Nihilus is an extraordinary lightsaber duelist. He uses an aggressive on handed style of Form II Makashi, relying on precision and efficiency. Form II allows an initiate to defend themselves against an opponent with minimal effort while placing a heavy focus on avoiding disarmament.  It’s elegant and focused, and was based on balance and footwork to outmaneuver opponents. Fluidity, precision, and economy of motion were relied on, rather than strength, with Form II bladework heavily utilizing jabs and light cuts rather than hack and slash movements.

When facing multiple opponents, Nihilus’s switches to Form V Shien/Djem So, using an opponent's attack against them, as evidenced by Shien's focus on returning blaster bolts to their origin and Djem So's emphasis on immediate counterattacks. Using this form, Nihilus can use both aggression and strength to dominate multiple opponents. Using this form, he will become more mobile and may implement flips and acrobatics to evade attacks and become more unpredictable.

___POWERS AND ABILITIES___

Darth Nihilus is one of the most feared Sith Lords who ever existed, not only a threat to the Jedi but is single-handedly a threat to the whole galaxy. Nihilus is one of the most powerful and most feared Sith Lord that ever existed.  He had learned some of the greatest of the Sith teachings, but such practices took the form of dependence. They would make him stronger, but only for a time, and he would have to feed upon Force energy to replenish his strength. For this reason, Force-sensitives and worlds rich in the Force would draw him. His reach in the Force eventually extended to a point where he could feel Force users throughout the galaxy to find planets he would then cleanse entirely, killing everything which was touched by the Force.

His mastery over Force Drain is unrivaled by any Force-user. With this ability, he can drain entire planets of life, leaving them lifeless husks along with killing every living thing on the world, sucking their life force, leaving them empty cadaverous corpses. Prolonged use of this power made him a threat to all life, as his craving grew more intense with each feeding. He can stay off his hunger depending on how much he feeds, but over time his desire to feed will inevitably return far more significant than before. Nihilus’s very presence upon a world will cause any life form near him to slowly wither and fade, Nihilus' can cause pain to others just by speaking and prolonged exposure to his presence will cause death.

Force Drain isn’t the only ability he has mastered. He can severe others connection to the Force with Severe Force; he used this ability to strip his master Darth Traya of the Force. Nihilus can also use the Force to telekinetically push, grip, crush, pull, and move objects with either a gesture or sure will of thought. Nihilus could also use his telekinetic abilities to lift entire starships, as he did on Malachor V with the Ravager. He tore it from the mass shadows that surrounded the planet and kept it together even though it had suffered extensive structural damage through the use of the Force. He can use his telekinetic abilities to cause powerful bursts and waves in the Force to push away or damage one or legions of foes. He can also use his telekinetic abilities to affect others by pinpointing weak spots in their bodies and afflicting them using the Force to wound them, like Force Choke, to which he can use to crush one’s trachea or throat.

He is also a master of telepathy, able to commune with people from across entire worlds through the usage of the Force.

Through the Dark Side of the Force, Darth Nihilus was able to escape death by containing his consciousness in his mask. As a living wound in the Force, his “body” is more so spirit and composed of pure Dark Side energy. Any physical means of harm him cannot destroy him, not even other lightsabers will deter him. Using the Dark Side of the Force, he can significantly enhance his speed, reflexes, and acrobatic skills at a superhuman level.

He is also proficient in using the Force to control the minds of one or multiple beings. He can dominate and sway even the most hardened of minds, using the Force to persuade and manipulate others' consciousness along with their actions with merely a wave of his hand or merely uttering aloud a command. His most potent mind ability is Force Horror. Using the Dark Side of The Force, Nihilus can cause multiple enemies to relive the most painful and most terrifying moments of there lives, causing foes to go into a catatonic state of panic. The effects of this ability will often cause the afflicted to either go into a permanent state of comatose or go completely mad. He also managed to use the Dark Side of the Force to prevent any other Force-user from using mind-altering abilities upon him, making him impervious to other possible Force-sensitives from entering his mind.

Darth Nihilus is also a master of Force Lightning. Using the Force, he can summon streaks and bolts of lightning from his hands. Nihilus’s lightning takes on a rare orange hue, and he can concentrate on the strength of the lightning he produces. Mid powered lightning he uses for torture, the pain caused by his lightning is exceptionally excruciating. A full-powered blast of his Force lightning is enough to cause welts, burns, and blisters. Enough exposure from full-powered blasts can kill an individual. He can also summon various streams around him to strike multiple foes at once in a variant ability known as Force Tempest.

Nihilus is also proficient in Force Bond, Farsight, Shatterpoint, Force Resistance, Dark Rage, and Force Whirlwind to which he can alter the air currents around an opponent, turning it into a maelstrom. This swirling force would lift an opponent into the air, spin them around, and leave them incapable of moving out of it.

His knowledge also extended to Sith alchemy: during the second battle of Onderon, Nihilus' sect of Sith followers used techniques that would bend beasts to their will. Nihilus can increase the strength of his powers by harnessing his and others' hatred, anger, and pain to further extend his connection to The Dark Side, making his abilities in the Force stronger. He is also capable of reaching through the Force at a range as far as a star system.

The man who would soon be known as Nihilus lost everything, including his will to go on living, after the Mandalorian Wars, between the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders and the Galactic Republic. In the final battle of the war on Malachor V, the Jedi Meetra Surik had the Mass Shadow Generator weapon activated, killing practically everyone on the planet and in orbit. 

Nihilus somehow survived the mass destruction of the planet. Now trapped on Malachor V by artificial shadows with many disabled Mandalorian fleets, the shadows and Malachor V eventually caused Nihilus to become overwhelmed by unfathomable pain and a seemingly endless feeling of nothingness. Making him feel empty and granting him great “hunger” that couldn't be fulfilled. He accidentally drained the life energy of another survivor. Still, while it was unpleasant, Nihilus felt his hunger fade for a moment, only for it to return a short time master stronger than before. He proceeded to feed on the Force energy of more survivors, but as he did, the more his hunger ceased less and less, when it returned, it grew more and more intense. After Darth Malak was slain at the end of the Jedi Civil War, the Sith Empire became fractured with numerous factions trying to take command resulting in constant infighting. Darth Traya broke from all these factions and made her own on Malachor V. 

Nihilus was found by Darth Traya, who sensed he was a “wound in the Force,” a catastrophic disturbance in the Force. She explained to him that the Force fueled his hunger and offered to give him the training that would make him able to sate his hunger. Nihilus went with Traya to her Sith Academy, where he studied to become a Sith, alongside his soon to be closest ally and friend, Darth Sion. They learned aspects and skills of the Dark Side, finally growing Sith Lords. With Traya, they formed a Sith Triumvirate, and the three each took a title, in Nihilus’ case, “Lord of Hunger.” Sion's, "Lord of Pain" and Traya's "Lord of Betrayal."

Seeing her apprentice’s hunger as an obstacle to the success of the Sith, Traya kept her promise and taught Nihilus to harness his darkness to become stronger. As Nihilus’ hunger grew, so too did his power, and he finally became stronger than Traya and Sion. 

Nihilus and Sion became divided on how to wipe out the Jedi; the two wanted to destroy them with pure force while their master preferred a more extended, less direct approach. This caused their Triumvirate to become fragile, and finally, Nihilus and Sion joined forces to overthrow Traya. They ambushed her in her Sith Academy, successfully defeating her, then cutting off her connection to the Force and banishing her. Thus, Lord Nihilus took Darth Traya's place and became Dark Lord of the Sith and Sith Emperor.

Darth Nihilus and Darth Sion then became the new rulers of the Sith Empire and ended it, becoming fractured with numerous factions attempting to take command. The two Dark Lords led the Sith in a massive Jedi purging campaign, waging war against them named the Dark Wars, with Sion hunting the Jedi down himself and slaying them. Meanwhile, Nihilus roamed the fringes of space with a vast fleet he’d taken from Malachor V for large deposits of Force energy, to feed his hunger.

The two managed to wipe out the Jedi, and Nihilus grew so consumed by the dark side and his hunger, his body started to decay. He realized he would soon die if not acted quickly, so by the use of Sith Alchemy, he removed his spirit from his body, placing it in his mask, while the dark side devoured his body whole and yet keeping him alive still. Nihilus was now officially no longer a man, but far more so an entity composed wholly of the Dark Side itself. Nihilus unleashed destruction throughout the galaxy as he went system to system, devouring whole worlds of there Force energy ever-growing his power and sating his hunger. All while recruiting many Force-sensitives. Darth Nihilus ruled all with an iron fist while Sion led his and Nihilus' assassins, who were sent out into war against the remaining Jedi.

After Jedi Master Atris gathered a large group of Jedi on Katarr, she leaked the location to draw in and destroy Nihilus, whom she’d sensed. The Dark Lord arrived in the planets orbit, but as he drew close, he spoke, and the Miraluka, the inhabitants of Katarr and all of the Jedi felt his hunger in the Force. It overwhelmed and destroyed them, along with everything else touched by the Force. Nihilus wiped out most of what was left of the Jedi, except for Atris. As Nihilus walked across Katarr, the Dark Lord found only one living creature, a Miraluka woman named Visas Marr.

Nihilus put her in a deep sleep before taking her to his ship, and when she awoke days later, she asked why she only had survived. Nihilus said nothing and showed Marr a vision of how he saw the galaxy, in chaos, with beings ignorant of the Force and unconnected, which Nihilus restored order to. This vision took away Marr’s force sight ability, as well as destroying her eyes. Marr agreed to become Nihilus’ apprentice, and the two developed a strong Force bond. 

But eventually, Visas Marr betrayed Darth Nihilus along with The Jedi Exile Surik, who, like Nihilus, was a wound in the Force in the Light Side. After a long and hard-fought battle, Nihilus was defeated, and The Dark Lord's body then dissipated as Dark Side energies dissipated his body as it faded away. Still, somehow, Darth Nihilus was not truly dead...

Afterward, Surik, the Mandalorians, and Surik's other allies left Nihilus's ship, The Ravager, in the shuttle that they had arrived in and set off the four explosive proton bombs and the Ravager and the rest of the Sith fleet were destroyed. But even after his physical body was lost, Nihilus’ spirit lived on inside his mask. Surik took Nihilus's mask and took it to the Sith homeworld of Korriban. There within a hidden tomb within The Valley of The Dark Lord's, Nihilus's mask was placed on an altar, and the grave was buried where Surik would hope it would remain for all time. Nihilus’ spirit came into contact with the Dark Side nexus there, letting his soul stay in connection with the physical world. Even though everyone assumed him to be dead, the Dark Lord lived on in secret, even after the deaths of Surik and Sion.

Before Surik died, she warned that while taking The Dark Lord's mask to Korriban, she felt Nihilus's spirit still lived on, and it was paramount that no one should find his tomb. Less the return of Darth Nihilus, Lord of Hunger, would be imminent. 

___PERSONALITY___ Nihilus is always determined, calculating, cruel, and persistent in his goal to sate his hunger, even if it means he must destroy the galaxy to do so. He believes that death is life’s only purpose, and power is the way of gaining it. Nihilus is a very cautious yet dominant individual, fully capable of not drawing too much attention to himself when wanting to remain discrete. He is intelligent and cunning, but when agitated can be highly aggressive and wrathful. 

Nihilus fully embraced his condition, as the mysterious and monstrous facets of it instilled in people who met him a deep-rooted fear upon which he called prey. He does not feel fear or any other emotion, only acting on purpose and implementing a strategy when necessary. Ceasing to feel fear and other emotions, he became an entity of pure intent. Nonetheless, Nihilus is still "human" enough to have some feelings, as his bond with Marr persisted until their confrontation on the Ravager. At the time, she was his only apprentice, and her betrayal was met with much anger.

Nihilus cares little for The Sith and rarely cares for others plight or even there lives. None are spared from Nihilus and his overwhelming hunger. Though Nihilus cares enough for The Sith to uphold their teachings. He believes the whole of life serves no other purpose but to quench his hunger, and all allies he creates in this conquest are merely a means to an end. When their usefulness has run its course, he will feed and consume them.
