This is Chapter 4 of the webcomic Dreamwalk Journal by Ed Kline and Kishma Danielle, with remastered artwork. Chapters 5 and beyond were never completed, and when Chapters 1-3 were reposted they segued directly into a new story leaving Chapter 4 as an orphan, so here it is for your entertainment and edification. Unless otherwise stated all art on this blog is by and © Ed Kline and appears here by permission. Please do not copy or re-post without permission.

More Eye-rolling And Useless Kvetching At Tumblr
So, I got an email asking how I would rate the resolution of my complaint – which was an appeal to unfilter a post that was text only, not female presenting nipples (OMG! Save us all from the lady nipples) or any actual sexual acts of it – and of course I had more to say on the topic.
After the read more, I’m putting in my second rant at Tumblr, which I put in the handy-dandy ‘comments’ field offered – those fools, offering me a place to rant.

Epic eye-roll of disgust
I finally had a few posts get flagged. I’m shaking my head and rolling my eyes enough to rattle something loose.
What amazes and disgusts me – like so many others of you who have experienced this – is the random nature of these flaggings. I will admit, one of the four they flagged actually had nudity in it, or I should more properly say female presenting nudity, including nipples. Two of the others had male presenting nipples, though nothing that is unacceptable on pretty much any beach or even in most parks. One was text, though it included the word ‘porn’, despite their claims that text posts are okay.
After the ‘Read More’ I’m including what I sent to them in the comment section, which will probably do me no favors, make me no friends, and could have been worded much more intellectually, but I’m tired and not feeling well, so I just sort of ranted a bit and hit 'send’.
So, you’ve finally got around to flagging some of my posts. Only one of which has a nude female in it - by that I’m addressing your offensively ludicrous 'female presenting nipples’ nonsense - and a couple of which don’t have any kind of nipples at all. Minions from 'Despicable Me’ don’t have any nipples showing, regardless of presentation. The other post is just text, which you said wasn’t an issue. So, you’ve got the sort of male nudity that’s completely acceptable at most beaches and a classic French postcard with, yes, those scary female nipples. Really? You have to be 17(?) to even HAVE an account? I think most 17 year olds are acquainted with nipples, let alone artistic representations of them. None of these posts have depictions of sex acts, either, just in case you are as dim as whatever automatic system you’re using to flag these things. I’m so disgusted with this whole pile of BS I can’t even express it without indulging in inappropriate language. It’s a shame, really.
Honestly, I do know this is probably pointless, but what the heck is wrong with you all? You panicked and decided, instead of getting rid of the pornbots, nazis, child p0rnographers, and assorted hate groups, that you’d just get rid of all the adult content. I’m pretty sure you’re aware that’s going to lose you a LOT of customers whose info/demographics/etc you’ll no longer be able to sell. It’s cheap, lazy, ridiculous, and doesn’t solve the actual problems. The same problems your 'family friendly’ users are going to be complaining about, too. You’re still going to have to get rid of all those nasty things you’ve been ignoring, why not just do that, let everyone choose their level of engagement with 'adult material’ and maybe see your stock rise instead of drop. Who knows, you might be surprised at how happy it makes people when you treat them like… y'know… PEOPLE instead of product. Now, go ahead and pixelate me or whatever, which won’t surprise me a bit.
Oh, yeah, and you little piss-babies might make it easier for people you’ve decided to ban/pixilate/shun to back up or download their blogs before leaving - as you clearly want them to. I cannot believe the idiotic, clumsy, short-sighted way Tumblr has dealt with this from waaay back. Sad. Just pathetically sad.

Tumblr’s Massive Cock-Up... AKA The New Policy Rears Its Ugly Head.
So, I see that m’buddy @iwantthatbelstaffanditsoccupant mentioned me on the @sherlockkinkmeme and went to see what was said, as I’d commented previously on the fact that I got a ‘hold up thar, little tumblr-user, there might be naughty bits up in here’ warning and had to click ‘yeah, I’m an adult and can decide for myself whether or not I see naughty bits, tyvfm’ button to see the blog. (This was AFTER the 17th, mind you.) Okay, good.
NOW? Well, now on my PC version and the mobile version, I cannot go to that blog. Also, on the PC version, the notification that I’ve been mentioned doesn’t show, at all.
On the PC I get a writhing, seizure-inducing, flashing/swirling black & white screen with the words: “This Tumblr may contain sensitive media.” and the ONLY choice offered is for me to click ‘Go to my dashboard’ below it. No click-through, no way I can see the page, and the address now reads: https://www.tumblr.com/safe-mode?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsherlockkinkmeme.tumblr.com%2F
Yeah, enforced ‘safe mode’. *heavy, angry sigh* And the place we used to be able to turn that shite off is gone. Can’t find it ANYWHERE. Of course.
On the mobile, I get the click-through option, but it let me have a brief glimpse of the page before shunting me back to my dash.
UPDATE: Even as I was typing this up, I checked again - PC hasn’t changed, but suddenly the mobile version lets me go through to the blog. *shrug* IDEKWTF.

Backup your Tumblrs (Please!)
Hey there everyone! First of all: I’m backing up every tumblr that will let me.
12/7/2018 is todays date, for referencing this later.
For my legal protection: I NEED YOUR PERMISSION! TO DOWNLOAD YOUR BLOG FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES. I can get in a *lot* of trouble for pulling this much data *without your permission*. With that in mind: I’ve got a google form that’s going to let me back up your data. Fill this out please? I’ve had less than 20 blogs ask for this.
THE QUE
I don’t want to see our history die. Who can I back up? EVERYONE! ANYONE!. EVERYTHING WE CAN. What can I back up: Everything that’s *published* on your tumblr. Drafts, asks unanswered, messages, communications between people that are behind a login screen, I can’t scrape. I’m using the tumblr python .utills scrape. How much space do I have? ENOUGH. I’ve got 4tb now, and I’m compressing files and moving them onto it as we speak. I’ve got the capacity to do 5 blogs at a time. If you visit my paypal or ko-fi, I can get more storage for us. It takes me eighty nine seconds to backup a blog with less than 5k posts. Seriously guys. Sides, mains, if you’ve got your content on it, I want to back it up. If you include an email, when I have a chance, I’ll send you an archived copy of your blog. It will likely be a dropbox file, or a github file, behind a password. Please: Reblog this and tag your people. The more eyes on this the better. ANY TUMBLR IS WELCOME TO ASK FOR THIS. Please. Even if it’s just in case. I need you to ask before I can download your blog. And a side note: For *fucks* sakes my title was *not supposed to be prophetic*.

ATTENTION NEW READERS (IF ANY...)
This is Lee speaking. I’m currently in the process of switching the comic blogs to Simple Webcomic Format, using this smaller one as a test bed. I’ve started with the basic navigational stuff. Little details like headers, fonts and background colors will follow. In other words, Business as Usual during Alterations.
AND WE NOW HAVE COMMENT BOXES! Can’t wait to instal them on the main site as well.

Final pieces of bonus art.
After all those intimate moments, Damiana’s looking rather... expectant, as confirmed by the inside view. Aww, that’s gonna be such a cute little bee baby.
Well, that’s it. Virtually all of the early Dreamwalk Journal art that was unavailable for so long has now been posted here or at the Nightshade the Merry Widow blog. Hope you’ve enjoyed it, and will continue to enjoy the art and story over on the Nightshade blog.

Many thanks to the developers of waifu2x, without which it wouldn’t have been possible to re-post the art in this quality.

Bonus art. Theta and Damiana Flying United. Remember to download or view at original size (960 x 960).
You’d think it would be hard to concentrate on flying when you’re busy satisfying your partner, but they obviously manage just fine!
Sadly that’s all the lovemaking images, but there’s a couple more pictures tomorrow that are not altogether unrelated.

Bonus art. A couple of images from the long-dormant Dreamwalk Journal Yahoo Group, capturing (no pun intended) Theta and Damiana in an intimate moment.
Birds do it, bees do it... well, there are no birds on Cyeatea, but the latter is certainly true! More on this theme tomorrow.

Tune in tomorrow for some bonus art, and don’t forget that the stories of Cyeatea are continuing on the Nightshade the Merry Widow blog.
Well, there it is, from October 2007, the very last page of Dreamwalk Journal. Quite a nice scene on which to finish. This is the original design for the Outpost, and although the later design is more sophisticated, the original looks a very friendly and inviting place... which it is.
What we know of Danny and Fleur’s travels from this point on is that they experienced many more remarkable adventures before finally being rediscovered in the Redlip ants’ village. Some day those adventures may be told, but for now... Good Hunting!

Only a couple more pages left now... however, these last few pages were originally posted at larger size than the previous few, so they don’t look so stretched when upscaled to 960 wide.

Back with the main characters and their encounters.
Some of these pages were posted at smaller size, and when they were upscaled it made the lettering a bit fuzzy so I’ve relettered them. The upscaling also makes the art look a little soft-focused, but I don’t think that’s a huge problem.
