I won't lie to you guys but I haven't been writing because I've been soo busy with exams. But by next week I'll be free from them and I can start writing again.

Genuine question. Does anyone want to see anything specific in the story? I already have an outline of the main story beats and how the relationships will evolve. But is there anything you would like to see in between the main events?

Soo the first chapter is currently getting a rewrite 🫣🫣 (sorry)

But I think it was needed because my writing style has changed a bit since February when I started this project. And some of the events of the first chapter didn't fit the theme I was going for. It was too lighthearted for my liking.

I promise you I am writing the fic but it is going a lot slower then I would like. Because I've been so busy with school.

I fear you might be waiting a while for the first chapter to be written and I know it shouldn't matter but it's a bit frustrating because I want to finish it and share it. 🫤🫤

Anyway, I want some suggestions for the fic. It can be about anything really like bending techniques or places they go.

Do you think blind firebenders would be able to detect heat signatures to be able to navigate around the world? Like how Toph uses seismic sense to see.

They don't even have to be blind it could be an ability to see in the dark without using an open flame. For stealth or something.

I just thought it was a cool ability and I thought that Azula would already know it or learn it in the future

Like the Descendants + Atla crossover. What about an FF7 and arcane crossover? I've been playing through Final Fantasy 7 and it came to mind.

Like the Firelights, Avalanche would be a gang in the Undercity trying to help make it a better place

Okay I am back and ready to finish my fic. I lost motivation and I literally moved fandoms. I went from Atla to Descendants to Rdr2 and now in Heathers but I have found motivation and am ready to finally finish the first chapter.

why is zucest a thing like I don't get it, why are there over 400 fics on ao3 dedicated to the ship. I don't get.

Actually, why are incest ships a thing anyway? I don't get it! Like unless you can give me a reasonable answer as to why people like it and why you enjoy consuming media of family getting it down. Don't chat to me, please because I've had enough of it. I'm sick of seeing it! I'm sick of it! I JUST DON'T GET IT!!

This is the world map of the Descendants AU. (It's not all the places, but you get the point).

As it shows, the Isle of the Lost is a lot closer to the Fire Nation. This is intentional because, like the Isle and Wonderland, the Fire Nation has been locked away for being too dangerous.

Hello, I'm Nightmare-ghoul! You can just call me Nightmare or Ghoul. And you can find me at @ nightmrefuel on TikTok.

I write, draw (eventually), and update here for my upcoming fic Inferno's Embrace. I mainly do Azutara, but I want to do more Azula-centric AU's. And maybe indulge in different fandoms. (We'll see)

Inferno's Embrace - Canon divergence, Azula was badly injured and loses connection with her bending. Following that she unwillingly gets help from the Gaang & Co.

This is a story about reconciliation, acceptance, redemption and recovery.

Aged up, Azutara enemies to lovers + a lovely slow burn (it's not a taunting slow burn, more of a cute build-up and discovery of oneself). Probably as canon as any of my AU's go. Darker and adult themes.

Avatar Azula - Canon divergence, the Avatar spirit has reincarnated into the Princess of the Fire Nation. And with Sozin's comet approaching and with prophecy deeply severed. Azula has to make the right decisions with the weight of the world on her shoulders.

Aged up, Azutara frenemies to lovers. Similar world-building to 'Inferno's Embrace'. Darker and adult themes

Descendants - Azula was born in the Fire Nation (a country that has been locked away). And in the last 2 decades, The Isle and the Fire Nation were trading buddies. (That is how the VKs knew the FN kids)

Katara is from the South Pole but goes to school in Auradon.

Azutara, slice of life, with quite a lot of fluff, and a pinch of angst for any Isle backstory. World-building goes crazy in this AU. And any existing character will probably get a redesign and will be rewritten (Princess + Villains)

Malevie + and probably any other existing canon ship

How would you guys react to a Descendants + atla crossover? I've been thinking about it a lot because I literally just rewatched all the Descendants films.

It won't be a fic because I am still focused on the 'Inferno's Embrace'. It would only be an AU I explore here.

I just wanted to create different AUs (mainly Azula-centric + azutara) and post them here

If you vote for older, there will be more adult themes (eg: sexual content). Aswell the characters will have a larger understanding of the world meaning there will be darker references to history.

If not the story will be a bit tamer + a bit more light-hearted.

I think I prefer the netflix live action outfits than the cartoon ones. I just prefer the designs, especially the Fire Nation’s (specifically Azula & Zuko). So if I describe their outfits. It will most likely be the live action counterpart

We are almost done. Just one extended scene and a beta read and the first chapter will be done.

What colour is Azula’s hair? Because sometimes it is black and sometimes it is brown. Personally, I prefer Azula’s hair being brown because I think it adds another layer of trauma if Azula’s basically a carbon copy of Ursa with Ozai's demeanour. And Zuko being an Ozai carbon copy with Ursa's demeanour.

Anyway, this is an important question, I need to know what colour Katara would be describing
