I had a little doodle in my sketch book and wanted to do a full piece on them. I’ve always like bug types in Pokémon along with ghosts. Pokémon are fun to draw if there’s nothing else to do.

I had a previous drawing before this one and was having a hard time with it. So another similar idea came and this is what it came out to be. Maybe I’ll fix the original drawing and upload it, who knows. Each redraw becomes better and better with time.

Red Death

This is a redraw from a traditional drawing I did in January.

For the last few months I’ve been on a hyperfixation on Guzma and a couple of other characters from different franchises. This drawing was done last year in September. I do plan on drawing a bit more of this Bug Man.

Lately I’ve been forcing myself to improve on my art and characters. For the last three months in my class I’ve been for focusing on poses and the angles of those poses, along with placing my characters into a environment of some sort. This drawing was a traditional pen and ink drawing, with a bit of grey markers. This drawing was made a couple of months ago.

Wanted to take a break from my original works and wanted to do some fanart. So I wanted to draw some of my favorite Pokémon. Wimpod is one of my favorite Pokémon out there. They’re just so cute and I wanna hug them.

Hello, I wanna say that this really does bring back memories from like six years ago. I’ve been trying to find this for a while now. I am the one who made this “wonderful” character. As I look back now, yeah she’s horrible, but what can you suspect from like a 13 - 14-year-old. Back then I just wanted to make a character and didn’t know how to make a character balance and seeing that someone rip my first character apart was heartbreaking back then. It made me want to stop doing art back then. I felt like a failure, but I kept trying to make new characters and just gave up on this Lord of the Rings fan character. Maybe one day I’ll take her out of that fandom and revamp her in the fantasy world I made for my future comics. 

I can understand that people were trying to help to balance this character and rip a character apart and point out everything. Some people have to start somewhere and more then likely their characters are horrible to start off with. I feel like being really harsh to people who are still new making to characters might make not want to do it anymore. All I can say is never give up and learn as you go. Something great can be made after molding that character more and more. That character doesn’t need to be in a fandom, you can make your own world, with your own set of rules. You can build a world of that one character and more and more characters are being made by your hands. It just takes time.

Looking back on Isen, I think I was mixing two worlds together...or just wanted to make an AU or something. I shall never know what was in my young child mind. If I’m ever bored I’ll more than likely redo her and make her fit in my universe. 

Isen (Lord of the Rings)

Reading that gave me a headache. Why was her first reaction to her mother dying like “Gee, guess I’ll become an assassin now!”?

Who hired her to kill Thranduil? That seems like a silly excuse to get her tied to a canon character for no reason.

Aaaand apparently the second half seems to imply she’s just as important, if not more important, to the plot as the Fellowship.

Must we really go on?
