3 Ways to get the smell out of your weave

We’ve all done it….or at least most of us. We convinced ourselves that we could go out for a couple of hours and be a fully functional adult the next day. What we didn’t expect was the amount of smoke and other debris that would be at our adult location and set up shop in our weave. So what do you when you paid good money for your sew-in or clips and need it for the next day? You read this blog and follow the steps! LOL. Here are the top 3 ways to achieve this depending on how much time you have:

1. If you have a couple of hours to be at your respected place of employment and you don’t have any hair care products that cater to this issue, you grab the Febreze. That’s right, hold it away from your face and get to spray. You may smell like Island Breeze while you are sitting in your cubicle BUT you won’t smell like the bottom of an ash tray.

2. If you have more time, we suggest running to your local beauty supply, somewhere like Sally’s and getting Salon Pro 30 anti-bacterial spray. This spray works wonders when you follow the directions correctly. 

3. Finally, and this is your best choice, if you have a day or so before going back to work, always book an appointment with your fav stylist and get your hair washed, cleansed and restyled. 

PS. If you are going to be a habitual partier that can accurately function the next day at work after a night out, we strongly suggest getting different wigs made so that you have one for going out and one for your work life.
