she  was  exhausted,  and  rightfully  so,  she  only  had  one  more  class  for  the  rest  of  the  day.  a  grueling  friday  it  was,  but  with  the  weekend close  by,  NICOLETTE  found  herself  with  something  to  look  forward  to.  as  she  sauntered  en  route  to  her  next  class,  she  heard  a  voice  in  the  distance,  but  close  enough  where  she  was  able  to  understand  just  what  she  was  uttering  out  word  for  word.  as  her  chocolate  orbs  moved  to  match  the  voice  that  she  was  hearing  with  a  face,  NICO  gave  a  faint  smile  a  fore  spotting  a  spare  coffee  in  her  hand  that  she  was  offering  out  to  her.  it  was  an  offer  that  she frankly  couldn’t  refuse,  and  so,  without  hesitation  she  found  herself  giving  a  nod  to  her  question.  ❛  hey,  uh,  sure.  there  isn’t  anything  wrong  with  this  one,  is  there?  ❜  she  curiously  asked  with  her  hand  extended  out,  uncertain  of  whether  to  take  the  coffee  or  not.

as  much  as  NICOLETTE  wasn’t  exactly  looking  forward  to  the  remainder  of  her  classes  for  the  day,  she  had  come  to  the  conclusion  that  she  didn’t  really  have  much  of  a  choice.  it  was  friday,  so  of  course  NICO  was  already  preparing  her  weekend  plans,  which  included  everything  except  thinking  about  school.  she  had  knocked  out  the  vast  majority  of  her  assignments,  leaving  her  with  a  lot  of  free  time  on  her  hands  for  the  remainder  of  the  weekend,  for  the  exception  of  a  paper  that  she  was  struggling  to  complete. it  wasn’t  due  until  the  following  week,  but  it  was  still  lingering  heavy  on  her mind.  as  she  strolled  through  the  campus  she  spotted  a  familiar  face  resting  there  on  one  of  the benches.  though  MARTIN  had  never  actually  held  an  actual  conversation  with  the  woman,  she  had  seen  her  around  before.  listening  to  her  as  she  kindly  invited  her  over  to  where  she  was  presently  laying  out,  she  playfully  uttered,  ❛  i  didn’t  want  to  intrude  on  your  personal  space,  you  looked  extra  comfortable.  ❜  she  chuckled  while  reaching  out  for  a  few  of  the  sour  patches  being  held  out  for  her  too  to  snack  on.  ❛  thank  you.  i  haven’t  had  sour  patches  in  ages,  mainly  because  sugar  and  me  are  a  deadly  combo  when  it  comes  to  me  trying  to  finish  my  work.  ❜

biography: NICOLETTE MARTIN has always been a girl in love with the glamorous life. growing up, she had a stricter childhood than most, as she grew up back home in spain. things a lot different there than in the states, causing for a bit of culture shock there in the air for NICOLETTE when she did initially move. it didn’t, however, take her fairly long to grow into her own, as she quickly found herself socializing with others. though NICO can sometimes be a bit of an introvert, people typically tend to gravitate towards her since she is a very bubbly person towards those who do in fact know her. to those who don’t, however, she can come off as a snob in a way since she often doesn’t break the silence when around others. it’s not the case though, and NICOLETTE since her sophomore year has found herself at the root of untrue stories about herself from those she considered close friends. the rumors had become so outlandish that it in turn now has morphed NICO into the complete opposite of the person that she once was. the outgoing, bubbly NICOLETTE that most knew has merely vanished from the face of this earth and in her place is a now guarded girl. she’s still a genuinely kind hearted person, it just requires a bit more effort to see that side of her these days.

NICOLETTE MARTIN is an only child, and it often shows in her desire to spoil herself. whether it be with the latest makeup, clothing or perfume. splurging has never been an issue for NICOLETTE, as her parents have always given her the means to do so, even though they were certainly not the richest family on the planet. to NICO’s father, it has always been about finding a way for his baby girl and her mother. that thought process has only continued during her college years and if MARTIN isn’t able to pay for it herself, she can always count on her dad to help. though she often attempts to refrain from having her father chip in, despite knowing how eager he would be to help. it’s the considerate side of her that won’t allow for her to take advantage of anyone, despite having the capability to do so, as her appearance alone has helped lure the opposite sex in without her having to put in much effort at all.

connections desired: ex close friend, who NICOLETTE considered almost a sister in a way. the pair were practically inseparable until NICO discovered that her so called friend had gone behind her back and attempted to smear her name. even going as far as to ruin a potential relationship that MARTIN had been working towards with one of her classmates. it was just too much for NICOLETTE, and so, without hesitation she cut her ex close friend out of her life like a bad habit.
