Siblings! As solitary animals, tigers (especially males) establish and maintain their own territories, the size and nature of which vary with the number and distribution of prey, the presence of other tigers in the area, the nature of the terrain, the availability of water, and individual characteristics! #indianwildlife #incredibletadoba #tigersofindia #tadobanationalpark #wildlifeofindia #wildlifephotography #junglesofindia @wildclickz_rental #faunaofindia @wildlife.on.earth @indianwildlifeofficial @sonywildlife #indianwildlife @natgeo @natgeowild #tigersofinstagram #royalbengaltiger #natgeoyourshot #natgeo @animalplanetindia #animalplanet #safari #tiger #tigetstripes #youpic https://www.instagram.com/p/BwINOKKl_a4/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=oqnrch14t4z9

Immature/Young/Junior Matkasur of Tadoba! The average lifespan of a wild tiger is 10 - 15 years. But on rare occasion, they have been known to live up to 26 years in the wild! #incredibletadoba #tigersofindia #tadobanationalpark #wildlifeofindia #wildlifephotography #junglesofindia @wildclickz_rental #faunaofindia @wildlife.on.earth @indianwildlifeofficial @sonywildlife #indianwildlife @natgeo @natgeowild #tigersofinstagram #royalbengaltiger #natgeoyourshot #natgeo @animalplanetindia #animalplanet #safari #tiger #tigetstripes #youpic https://www.instagram.com/p/BwIMNG2FrKy/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=66aulkp5xxt9

Tigers swimming, will usually submerge their bodies but not go completely underwater! Aside from swimming as a mode of transportation, tigers swim as a hunting advantage. They may chase prey into the water in order to trap it! #incredibletadoba #tigersofindia #tadobanationalpark #wildlifeofindia #wildlifephotography #junglesofindia @wildclickz_rental #faunaofindia @wildlife.on.earth @indianwildlifeofficial @sonywildlife #indianwildlife @natgeo @natgeowild #tigersofinstagram #royalbengaltiger #natgeoyourshot #natgeo @animalplanetindia #animalplanet #safari #tiger #tigetstripes https://www.instagram.com/p/BwIEMp5FT1m/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=m7atjtkygtf2

Prowler in it's territory! A tigress will need a 20 square kilometers (7.7 square miles) territory whereas a male tiger requires a larger territory, such as one that covers 60 to 100 square kilometers (23 to 39 square miles)! #indianwildlife #incredibletadoba #tigersofindia #tadobanationalpark #wildlifeofindia #wildlifephotography #junglesofindia @wildclickz_rental #faunaofindia @wildlife.on.earth @indianwildlifeofficial @sonywildlife #indianwildlife @natgeo @natgeowild #tigersofinstagram #royalbengaltiger #natgeoyourshot #natgeo @animalplanetindia #animalplanet #safari #tiger #tigetstripes https://www.instagram.com/p/BwHyjFSFjso/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=v1ywvai30nmm

People often ask me to take them to the jungles so that they can sight a tiger! Let me ask you few questions before:
Are you ready to wait for 2-3 hours in a terrible heat of 44 Degree Celsius in the peak summer even after which there is no surety that you'll spot a cat?
Are you ready to wake up early at 5 am in a bone freezing winter morning for a safari as the tiger movement occurs during that time?
Are you ready to come back without any sightings and by just witnessing a jungle (which I feel is marvelous)?
Are you ready to just experience the jungle without even a single noise being made for hours?
If the answer is No - THEN PLEASE VISIT A ZOO to see a tiger because waiting and spotting and coming back disappointed has its own addiction! You're Welcome!
PS: Massive Pug Mark of the Biggest Tiger of Tadoba, Bajrang!

Legendary Chota Matkasur of Tadoba! First safari in Tadoba where we reached at the water source with some signs of ambush in the grasses nearby. This cat was well camouflaged! Upon the arrival of a massive Gaur (Indian Bison), it felt threatened and there! We got the first glimpse of this famous cat. Out came Junior Matkasur with his kill, as you can see in the picture, the head of a wild boar. I was awestruck and so were others in their safari vehicles.
