she watches the sky so often her eye begin to resemble the stars.(she finds a home in the loneliest of places.) her heart fills with this familiar longing, a wanting.

Hey, hello! Alex here, popping in at work (shh). I knocked out pretty much instantly opening day and yesterday but I’m here and ready to play! Hope to plot with ya’ll soon!
She was born and raised in in a beach town in Texas called Corpus Christi. She grew up in very freeing home with a lot of liberty to do as she pleased. She had a pretty happy childhood, spoiled by her parents and constantly at the beach - because what was there to do when the nearest big city was more than 45 minutes away?
she was well liked in school mostly because she was the one to try and get everyone involved. She was a very critical part of the schools soul - she was the mascot at all games and pep rallies.
She didn’t actually hold back in anything, always giving her all in everything she did and moving to Austin, TX at 18.
That was when she was met with her first speed bump - as everyone does in their life. Nicki’s luck seemed to have gone down hill then. She didn’t have much of a plan other than community college.
She got swept up in the college town lifestyle of house parties, drinking, and the complicated relationships. And boy did her relationships get complicated or rather, relationship. For the better part of her early twenties, Luna was stuck in a rut of a toxic relationship whom she blindly did everything for and got nothing in return.
During her time in Austin and in one of her very depressive lows, she turned first to the negatives in her life - more drinking, dabbing in light drugs. Then she met her, the one person who saw something in her to try and help her from the slump she was in.
Their relationship was not more than a friendship at first, both focusing on getting Nicole the help she needed to get her life together.
It was when Nicki moved from the toxic environment and surrounded herself with people who wanted more out of life than the ‘college experience’ when she realized she felt more for her than she ever did for any friend.
Their relationship was a bit of a slow burn that never really had a chance to burn.
Nicole was driving on Christmas morning when she was stopped at a red light and the haunting screech of breaks and the impact of the truck was all she could register. Nicki had been hit by a drunk driver on her way to give her ‘almost girlfriend’ her gift - a beautiful locket necklace with their initials on the heart and their first date photo inside.
Now Nicole is bumming around in this new place, angry at herself for not speaking up and angry at the person who rear ended her and ended her life.
