#1 Why I lived my last summer in Seattle

Studying in Seattle for five weeks was the best experience in my life.

Some people tell me it was perfect because I was there just five weeks, almost nothing. But I do not think so. Let me tell you the story of how I end falling in love with the Emerald City.

I won a shoclarship from my University to study English in a Summer program. 200 students did it too, but just 50 went to Seattle and just 12 to City U. So there you go, 12 students from the same university but very different fields of study (so completely strangers for me)  going to City University of Seattle to study English. We used to live in the Cornish Commons, we were roomates from the othes and we lived in the same floor, so the next day we came, we were almost best friends. One week later we were family, we actually named our group as Ohana (original... I know) We are still in touch and met twice a semester, if you were wondering :)

I’ve been lying all this time, we studied just 4 weeks. First week was our tourist week. (We actually have that week to pay the program with the money our university gave us, and took the test to see our English level, etc... that kind of stuff) We got that special City Pass so we went to the Aquarium, Space Needle, EMP Museum... you know. I have videos if you want to see. Next 3 weeks were pretty normal, we got adaptated very fast so we fell in a routine, (breakfast, school, lunch, free time to do whatever we want that day, dinner, moviers or billar or dance or go out or have dates ;) and finally sleep) which was the best, you know, like airnbn something like “Do not go to visit, go to live there...” And our last week was to cry and go to the places we had been missing, like University of Washington, the big wheel, Kerry Park, Green Lake Park,etc. 

But that was a background, like I want to put you in my context. Like I am not crazy, I lived there... 

Like I feel I need another post to give you my specific reasons why I would never forget that summer.

#0 So this is my first post on Tumblr.

I decided to start this blog because I always want to write and I don’t have where, besides I need to practice my writing (English is not my first language!!! As you will notice while reading my posts lol)

I don’t know what I’m going to write but I’d figure it out.

Plus I’ll be posting photos from my country and HOPEFULLY of my next travels, so thanks for being here. I had accepted that I am in ove with photography, even when I take pictures with my phone’s camera...
