Graphic Design students and Photography students worked together to create a magazine cover. The photography was taken by Zach and Luis was the model for the photo. Zach then edited the images on photoshop, sent them over to me and I added the typography act onto the image using illustrator. This was the first experiment I created.

I have chosen my colours on Pantone. finding the closest colours to my RGB colours on illustrator (Bright Red C) and searched through Pantone to find three 'secondary' colours that compliment my first chosen colour which is my 'primary' colour. With this I found the nearest CMYK RGB and Hex codes for my chosen colours.

As class we all chose our typeface and a colour. At the time my chosen colour was red. Red means to me passion and courage, especially for the topic I have chosen to do my work about which is mental health.

Looking to reinvent the letterforms and messing around with the smudge/liquify tool on photoshop and a elegant typeface on illustrator I created these two experiments with my chosen word.

The second one is wild?!!

for both of these I learnt by following a tutorial on YouTube to expand my abilities.

Considering my accent, tone of voice, culture and dialect I have drawn thumbnail sketches of how my chosen word is spoken. I listened to how I said it outloud and considering my back ground which is considered "posh".

To expand this further I would put my sketches into photoshop.

My manifesto for module 2 at university. This peice is about mental health and how important it is to keep going. I chose to do this as it is a personal topic for me after loosing my dad at the age of 16, verge of 17, to suicide.
