Blog Post #7 Political Party Action
1. Republican: The tone is not uniform among Republicans: Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who has long advocated strong police tactics, declared the Black Lives Matter movement — a response to police killings of black men — "inherently racist." The real danger to young black men, Giuliani said, is "99 out of 100 times ... other black kids, who are going to kill them." "It's important that we acknowledge ... there are people in this country who believe that because of their color of their skin, they're not as safe as everybody else," Ryan said recently on CNN.
Democrat: PHILADELPHIA—Democrats on the second day of their national convention tried to strike a balance between showing support for law enforcement and validating the concerns African-Americans and Latinos have about policing in the country
Libertarian: The problem of police brutality—often shaped and directed by racism and class distinctions—also cuts across American society.
green: Green Party members have participated in and helped organize many of the rallies and protests in reaction to a steady flow of news reports about police killings of young Black men.“The protests are not only against the killing of Mike Brown and the grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Wilson, but also against a system that devalues Black and Brown lives.
Peace and freedom: Accompanying the continuing economic crisis, we see a rise in racial discrimination, increased terrorism against racially and nationally oppressed people, and retrenchment in civil rights. Minority families are disproportionately victimized by cutbacks in health care, education, child care, welfare, food stamps and jobs.
B. Republican: I do not necessarily agree with Paul Ryan's opinion on police brutality but I respect that he recognizes the discrimination. Democrat: I agree with the Democratic parties opinion, they try to find a balance between both. Libertarian: I obviously agree with libertarians opinion because I am Libertarian. Green: The green party is also easy to agree with because they enforce nonviolent protesting. Peace and Freedom: And the Peace and Freedom party I also agree with because they recognize rises in racial; discrimination.
C. I identify most with Libertarians. It is not surprising to me considering I live in California and in the Bay Area. I would vote for the Presidential candidate.

Blog post #6 Executive Action Assessment of Issue
1. President trumps stance on my issue not defending the American people on discrimination of the brutal murders that police officers have committed but standing up for our law enforcement community. President Trump claims that he knows that one of the fundamental rights of every American is to live in a safe community and that he will honor the men and women in uniform. “ The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong”. He doesn’t acknowledge why communities are becoming more and more anti police.
2. I 100% disagree with his position. He no where there acknowledges the fact that the crimes due to discrimination are a huge problem and he is more focused on protecting the police atmosphere. Yet he says he understands the fundamental rights of every American is to live in a safe community.
3. The department of Justice manages my issue.
4. There mission is to enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic; to provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior.
5. The cabinets programs and services are to have it both ways for police and the American people.
6. My level of satisfaction is high based on the fact that Trump shows signs of wanting to be on both sides of the spectrum. Although he is favoring one side more then the other which is the police at the same time he is making it clear he understands the needs of all Americans. Trump does want to cut funding from my department, he wants to cut funding from building federal prisons and there construction and give it to the FBI to put more people in prison and double their time. Which does not make any sense to me.
7. The subject of my article is the 63rd anniversary of Brownvboard of ed. The author is Ryan smith. The context of the article is segregation of schools. The intended audience is everyone and mostly directing it at the colored community. The Bias is by a colored person who fits the description. I agree with this article because it is a great accomplishment to celebrate.

Blog post #5: THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH
a. Mark Desaulniers stance on police brutality isn't shown on his website as a priority. One thing that comes close to that is protecting gay rights. Dianne Feinstein does not have a perspective on police brutality as well. And Kamala Harris perspective is high in respect and very much is involved in racial acts.
b. Kamala has not yet sponsored any bills abtaining to my issue, neither has Feinstein and Desaulnier.
A. There's one bill pertaining to my issue. B. Omnibus: funding the government through September with 1.1 trillion in spending . HIRE vets act C. The bill prohibits an employer from publicly displaying an award as a part of any advertisement or business activity. D. It will impact police and the way they do not appreciate there jobs and don't take it serious by discriminating and putting minorities in danger. E. I would vote yay because it gives veterans the opportunity to be recognized more often by employers and makes current police respect there title. F. It originated in the senate then moved to the house . Both the senate and house committees reviewed it. It is waiting to be approved by the president. G. I'm not satisfied at all because I feel like there is not anything being actually done, we keep paying for police officers and veterans but there's no help for those who have been brutality murdered. Because it is murder even if your a cop. #YesAllWomen, #BlackLivesMatter, #HandsUpDontShoot, #CarryThatWeight, #YaMeCanse, #ICantBreathe #AmINext, #IfTheyGunnedMeDown, and the countless other instances of social injustice that have found their place across the nation and spoken up about online.

BLOG POST 4 STATE ACTION
Part 1. Emailed both of them
part 2.
A. Bill number 585
B. February 14, 2017
C. Existing law provides that a sheriff’s or police security officer is a public officer whose duties are limited to the physical security of properties owned, operated, controlled, or administered by the county or city, or any municipality or special district contracting for police services from the county or city, and other necessary duties, as specified.
D. I somewhat agree with the bill. Although a big part of me doesnt because its saying that a police officers job is not to keep peace which is not true. Its definitely a hard thing to decide whether or not its acceptable or not.
Part 3.
The subject is Harvey Weinston on the promise JAY Z made to Trayvon Martins parents. The author is News week. The context of the article was that JAY Z is making a movie for Trayvon and he promised his parents to make it as real as his life was. The intended audience is people that read news week, and also the colored community. The bias of the article seemed genuine and very much appreciative of JAY Zs promise. The significance of the article is to bring awareness and remember Treyvons unlawful death. I agree with this article and I think its grest JAY Z is making a movie about it.

BLOG POST #3 Constitutional Issues
1. Wallace VS. Kato
2. Feb 21, 2007
3. In 1994, Andre Wallace was arrested and charged with murder. he was convicted and sent to prison 2 years later. Wallace appealed, stating that the police arrested him without probable cause. In 2002 prosecution dropped its case against him. The next year Wallace sued the police officers and the city of Chicago for violating his Fourth Amendment rights through false arrest. The District Court ruled against Wallace, because his suit was time-barred. The Circuit Court panel acknowledged that other Circuits had failed to agree on the question of when the statute of limitations for a false arrest claim should begin.
4. When does the deadline run out to file for a wrongful arrest and sue for damages start running out when the evidence collected was introduced during the accused criminal trial and he was convicted?
5. Fourth Amendment rights through false arrest were in question.
6. 7-2 vote, the Court affirmed the Seventh Circuit. Since false imprisonment is detention without legal process, the Court ruled, the false imprisonment ends when legal processes begin.
7. "the statute of limitations begins to run when the alleged false imprisonment ends."
8. I personally don’t agree with this because the statue of limitations for murder never runs out as it shouldn’t people should serve time for their crimes. Although it was the police that should have had the right facts before arresting someone.

Economic assessment of issue
Individuals are affected by this issue and they are affected because police brutality abuse and attack people of color everyday and they are discriminated against everyday even if it's small things. The resolution to police brutality is a need. People of color should not be discriminated against and it is a problem that has gone on for years. An act of disrimanating against a race is unexceptable especially for our law inforcers. It is an unjust and unfair abuse of power. The goods or services that would should be necessary to deal with this issue is better psychiatric assessments, better police training, and doing away with the protection of brotherhood so that if they commit a crime that society and others will be able to choose whether or not their punishment is just or unjust./ The factors of production that are necessary to alleviate this issue are more training which means paying for more people to have jobs and labor to train them. There is plenty of incentives to resolve this issue. There would be greater trust of society to trust police officers. And if society feels that they were truly being protected and served society would want to do the same thing. All together is creates a greater trust. It's mainly social incentives but it would make it easier for our police officers not to have to testify against one another. I do agree with these incentives because having the trust of our law makers is a very important part in our society. An opportunity cost that would tackle this issue is spending more money on psychiatric assessments for police and cost savings because less people would sue police departments for there brutality. I think the opportunity costs are worth the challenge for the costs to train our police officers. Individuals that would benefit from this would be the black community in places that racism is still a very big problem. No individual would make a profit off of this because it's more of a social problem rather than economic.Police brutality would not be a result of an externality. The issue can be partially solved by government subsidies and transfer payments. The government would be giving more money that would go toward more police training.

Getting Started
Mostly the tweets The subject of the blog is to focus on the issues of police brutality and racial bias in the United States. The author is unknown for this blog but the context is drawn primarily from "No Justice, No Peace: How Poverty Leads Racially Biased Police Brutality to Trigger Protests." The context is a blog that gives perspective on who where and when incidents happened but the context isn't credible. The intended audience would be the blogs followers. The bias and perspective is empowering people things that are happening to take action. I agree with the blog because it doesn't seem like its coming from one specific person that has an opinion and is sharing it. Its content, even though it is not credible, still seems like its coming from another place and seems very accurate. The author just doesn't give names of where they got the article. I would like to follow the blog. On twitter I am following Justice committee, Police Brutality, Faces of the movement, Huff-post Black Voices, and Black lives matter. There aren’t any tweets that catch my eye and I find interesting yet. Mostly these tweets are to keep us updated.
