Absolutely there is. Willa struggles with the feeling she'll end up like her paternal grandfather. While she never met him, she's heard many stories about her grandpa Arlo and the things he got into in his younger years and even into his old age. The Givens family had a history of crime before her father joined SI:7. It makes her think there's bad in her as well so she does what she can to stave off that feeling.
