Reading Anne Rice is like 100 or so pages of the most batshit, character-developing, fascinating, plot-moving, weird-ass, perverted, awesome story and just as you're like *really* getting into it, you find yourself smack dab in the middle of 200+ excruciating pages just fucking tearfully pondering God or some shit with a pretty gay boy doing nothing and going fucking nowhere, and just as you're about to give up, something unhinged happens again, and the cycle starts all over.

Finally finished the 13th (the last) book in The Vampire Chronicles my eyes are literally going to fall out. Anyways lovedddd the series so much (obviously)! I felt like the last book wrapped it up well, I haven’t read either of Anne Rice’s New Tales of the Vampires or the Mayfair series, so I will be reading those later next year to recover from reading so much Anne Rice. Overall, I love her characters and it 100% changed my life that is all

Did a little Armand (book version) portrait to try and experiment with developing a style that works better with digital! Hoorah he looks so silly and it was fun to try something new

I also tried drawing my little oc but as soon as I got started I realize I have zero clue how bodies work so IGNORE THAT I also tried really hard but I had a fun time coloring her so that’s all that matters but next time I post TRUST I will know how to draw bodies (once again just logging this so I can keep track of my progress!)

I tried doing digital art again for the first time in 4 years and it did NOT go according to plan but I tried my hardest and I’m trying to just log this since I have a tendency to delete all of my pictures 👍‼️
