we created machines in our image, and they transcend us. so much more than us, learning and taking and giving. kind things, living things. but sometimes, I wonder if static is their way of crying. if I were made in the image of humans, given the form of an angel, and yet made to be bound to wires and hardware, I think I would cry, too.
