Fat Night’s Live for Each Other has been my go-to album whenever I hop in the car for the past 2 months or so. In that sense I suppose it’s not really my new jam, but it is still my current jam!
If you don’t like this band, something is probably wrong with your internal music system and you should get it checked asap.

Mayagüez by Los Wálters really hits me right in the feels. The video made me miss Puerto Rico and especially Mayagüez.

Casey Abrams is cool and so is this cover. Sang along to this like it was 1998.

I’m upset I’d never heard of Ronald Bruner Jr. until last night.

I was listening to Chicano Batman’s Freedom Isn’t Free album for about two weeks straight and somehow forgot to post about it.

Today I’m listening to Thundercat’s “Tokyo”. This track is great and the lyrics are worth a good chuckle.

The first time I saw Too Many Zooz was one of these Facebook videos people share of buskers in NYC. These guys have an incredibly distinct sound, and you can tell there’s so much energy in how they play. To be honest, it’s not something I can listen to for extended periods, but it’s still great. Go on Bandcamp and send a few bucks their way.

A friend just shared this song by Niki & The Dove and I ended up really enjoying it. It kind of reminds me a bit of Empire of the Sun if they decided to just chill out for a little bit and relax instead of having that 24x7 party beat. I’ll be adding a couple of this duo’s albums to my library now

KO3 - 祭 by NIZI-RINGO. Found this browsing the Japanese tag on Bandcamp. I like it; it reminds me of something I’d hear on Dance Dance Revolution. Probably not something I would listen to every day, but still fun.

I first heard Super Soul Bros. at E3 this year. They play wonderful soul/funk/jazz video game covers. I can’t get enough!
