I've posted about Slay the Princess on tiktok quite a few times and the amount of people in my comments that are genuinely shocked that STP has a fandom and/or think that the game is underground is actually painful. Like dude this game has won multiple awards, not being able to find the fandom is just user error at this point.

cold wld not tell a worker that broken asked for no pickles. he would simply eat the pickles. and then hand feed him a fry just to see if he would do it. and ofc he does.

so he picks up broken's burger next to see if he can hand feed him that and Thats when brokens like "ok what are you doing". and colds just like. "i thought it was obvious". and broken doesnt have a response to that. so he just lets him handfeed him.

yesss!! i’ve always particularly liked canary paranoid because of his role in the nightmare route. feels extremely fitting to me.

i think the opportunist would have peacock traits, both bc of the bright and beautiful colors of their feathers, and bc their tail feathers look like they have extra eyes on them. he's showy and extravagant, but he has a watchful eye bordering on hypervigilance to protect his back

the skeptic would of course have horned owl traits, bc a certain owl from a certain game has me associating horned owls with knowledge

i think that the cold would have barn owl traits bc they're coldly beautiful and look like they're wearing masks

the hero would have corvid traits (like the long quiet, since i think that he's the long quiet's heart, similar to how the princess is the shifting mound's heart) with feathers that reflect silver rather than iridescent to give the illusion of metal armor

the stubborn HAS to have cassowary traits. they have funky colors and are pretty, but they're also. incredibly dangerous. i believe THE most dangerous bird in the world, as far as humans are concerned. these things KNOW that they used to be dinosaurs

i think that the smitten would have swan (specifically black swan) traits, since swans mate for life and are often seen as a symbol of romance bc of that

the hunted would definitely have a mix between hare and bat traits (not birds at all but hare specifically feels so right bc they are prey but they are MEAN) (not saying hunted is mean. just that "prey" is not all he is). he also has corvid traits bc corvids are famously intelligent and he's so very smart to me

okay so i was gonna say that the contrarian would have hummingbird traits, but actually lovebirds are a much better option. they're smart, playful, and affectionate, and i can see him being affectionate when he's not trying to get under people's skin. plus, they're small birds and he gives me small and especially younger sibling vibes

i think i'll give the broken secretarybird traits, as i want him to be rather tall. it also hints to him having more potential than he lets himself express

idk what traits to give to the cheated or the paranoid. if anyone has any ideas, or has any additional thoughts on what i've already decided on for the others, i'm open to hearing them! these are tentative decisions (especially for smitten and broken -- i'm pretty happy with the others), more like i'm brainstorming than making actual hard decisions, so i'm open to suggestions!

2022 Liana headcanon (minus wig) (inspired by WX-78 and probably some other bitches)

Before the full game was released, I had a vivid understanding of the story. Inconveniently I can't give you that shit, but basically Liana's brother is her ideal self (pre+post death), HER is everyone else's ideal self (of Liana), and Liana's vessel is a mechanism for that (which was created without Liana's free will in mind).

i love. love thinking about the heart and the hero. the regular heart, not the stranger. i love imagining them meeting for the first time. i love imagining them talking. i love imagining them comforting each other.

sometimes hero has his own body, sometimes he doesnt. sometimes he starts in the basement, sitting next to her. sometimes he starts at the entrance. sometimes he takes the blade. they both know something is off, at first. they know this is not the usual play. the actors are wrong. the setting is barren. they continue anyways.

he talks to her. tries to get his bearings. he's confused and disoriented. he feels wrong. the blade in his hand trembles and his wings cling tightly to his body. it only takes a few words to get him to consider going back up and she panics. she approaches and he is rooted in place.

she doesnt understand. he came down here to kill her, right? why is he hesitating? is he scared? intimidated? he acts like a cornered animal, instinct warring with whatever's going on in his head. she takes his wrist, the one clutching the blade, and she raises it towards her. he tries to pull away, but she holds fast. the tip hovers over her heart.

he breaks.

he rips his hand away, the blade clattering to the floor. he drops to his knees. he feels sick. his head is too empty. silent. he's not supposed to be here. this is not his body to puppet. he's not the protagonist. he is nothing but a shadow. a pale imitation. why is here, he whimpers. who am i.

she realizes, suddenly, this is not Them. he is different. smaller. more unsure. he is like her.

then they kiss and smooch and cuddle and make out and

cold's insistence on numbing yourself to everything.. contrarian's unserious nature.. almost an inability to be serious. so similar but in different directions.

i think despite cold's. everything. he really is very comforting. or tries to be in his own weird way. i think it'd be very interesting to have him interact with a post-stranger contra. like. they're both the only voices who dont have a "relationship" with the princess in chapter 1 ykno. cold kills her immediately and contrarian never meets her in the first place.

idk. maybe they could kiss about it or smth.
