Hmmm it seems that he was legitimately curious about this subject. He even bothered to ask for further clarification on the different schools. Though she found it odd that he kept doubling down on his statement for research, but she soon brushed it aside as Neil’s typical actions and mannerisms.

“Yeah, right. There’s 8 different schools of magic in total. There’s Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, and Transmutation.” She listed them all out on her fingers before going into further detail. Abjuration is basically magic that protects or banishes things. Conjuration is as it sounds, its focused on summoning things to ones side, whether they be creatures or objects. Divination basically focuses on things that are holy or divine, commonly using to heal or create clarity. Enchantment is also as it sounds like, it focuses on imbuing objects or creatures with pure magic for different applications. Evocation is one that I mostly focus on, which is a focus on raw power in the form of elemental effects: ice, fire, lightning, the works. Illusion focuses on tricks of the eye used to fool others. Necromancy focuses on reviving the dead and using them to your will or to deteriorate your foes. And finally, Transmutation focuses on turning things from one thing to another, modifying material and changing them, even to the tiniest details.”

She paused after giving the long summaries on each of the schools. “Though I suppose an easy example of Transmutation magic is similar to the curse of the Midas Touch: turning things into solid gold. Though obviously you could turn other things into things other than just gold.”

        Neil looked as if he was listening intently, nodding while resting his hand on his chin. He thought that he was pretending not to really care, but his actions proved otherwise.

       He was being honest though, he was asking for the sake of science — but even then, he was more curious than anything, but that doesn’t mean that he was going to admit that out loud. No way, no how. Ever since that whole situation where Harrison proved him wrong, he was always wondering if there was more to this phenomenon then he originally thought.          ( Especially because of the fact he thought that he was completely sure none of it was real in any way. ) 

        That doesn’t mean that he wasn’t hesitant to ask this question in the first place though, as the prideful part of him refused to acknowledge that he may have been wrong. However this time, his curiosity had gotten the better of him.

        �� There’s different schools of magic you say? Uh — how many of those ARE there? ❞ There was a pause. ❝ I mean — I don’t care or anything though. Like I said — I’m just doing this for research, remember? ❞ For some reason, that question sounded as if it had been directed more at himself than at Nerris…

Huh, this was interesting. While Neil and Nerris have hung out on many occasions and played all sorts of games together, she never recalled a time in which he had asked about her magic, or more specifically how it worked.

Now the ultimate question, when she started listing out how it worked, would he believe her or not. Additionally, would he want her to go on such a long tangent about it. It would probably be best to test the waters first to see if he would want to talk about this in depth.

“Well....Harrison mostly focuses on pointless magic of the school of Illusion. Where as I often explore more than just a singular school. While I haven’t learned how exactly his magic works, I know that my own works on the amount of spell slots and mana that I have and am able to use, though there are a few more intricate details about that.”

     ❝ Hey, I’m just curious, but what’s the difference between yours and Harrison’s magic? I’m asking for uhm — scientific purposes of course. ��

Avoid This Blog!

I’ve been putting off making this post for a while bc I know that I will receive hate for it etc etc. But it needs to be made.

Please do not interact with nerdiiisms. This mun has harassed me and sent me and my friends anonymous hate in the past for blocking them.  The reason we blocked them? They write smut for an underage character - Hiro Hamada, who is canonically 14.

This mun is 27 years old, but finds it acceptable to write smut threads as this child character. I don’t know if Hiro gets aged up or not, but that wouldn’t make it okay regardless.

I don’t have any screenshots of this, but I recall the mun having a rather large tantrum on their blog the first time I blocked them - claiming they had been stabbed in the back by a friend. We were not friends, I didn’t even know who they were - I had just come off of about a year long hiatus and had no clue who this person was.

I know for a fact there was a point where this mun actually made a nsfw blog just for Hiro. I also know this mun has a habit of deleting posts that make them seem like a bad person, and so I have screenshots in case this happens.

tl,dr; nerdiiisms is run by an adult who writes smut of an underage character and harasses/sends anon hate to people who block them.
