Thoughts on Realm Philza, and potential solutions to “ the faction issue”

I fully understand Phil’s reluctance to get into the whole faction and lore thing going on and am behind the hyper fixation on wood chopping ( we all have those times where a random activity just consumes all your available brain space). I also have an idea the issues that may be driving the push to get him in a faction.

First the whole quest/kill thing is there as a gameplay element to drive interaction and engagement in an effort to extend server lifespan and player involvement ( hyper fixation go brrrrrr until it abruptly doesn’t). If you have skin in the game it keeps you invested.

Second it feels like this may be an issue with coding/ development on the back end. If you want a global event say with a tower defense it can be more difficult to code inputs for each faction members interactions ; like if your faction interacts with an object you get positive effect or if enemy faction touches it you get negative effect, but more groups means more lines of code and more potential glitches . Things like this can be more complex than they appear.

It can also be a matter of apparent favoritism, but most members here seem to be mature about this.

There is a simple solution if bird wants to chop wood, let him chop wood for his quest. Have him get a wood barrel and pay wood tax.

Like if Mumza was present for Phil’s birdenning(?), the recovery period would make for fluffy fluff and potentially comedic gold. Like immediately new bird brain software is just channeling Philza’s affection and adoration in new and confusing ways. Like all of a sudden the new feathers go Fluffy when he sees wife( bird brain just making heart eyes and going ��My mate ! Come preen! I love you and trust you with my vulnerable parts”). Or if he has trouble getting used to claws on the hands and Mumza helps feed him he is gonna be surprised at how strangely hot he finds it.( Adult birds usually feed mates , very sexy behavior for birds). Also no longer able to sit in regular chairs, gonna need new furniture. No more tall chair backs. Gonna need new clothes ( origin of the boob window sweater? ) Sudden urge to be up high, like up on rafters and suddenly satisfied.

Okay but no, back to Philza (at least HC Philza) not being born with wings. Do you think he was a back sleeper before? Because suddenly no more back sleeping . That and the sudden change to his center of gravity with the addition of flight muscles and anatomic changes to his chest ( instant phiddies?🤣 but would having the musculature and keel bone make chest sleeping easier?) mean walking around is a bit harder. Can he use body soap on the wings?( not normally used , completely strips the protective oils from the feathers). Needs a completely new wardrobe for his shirts.

Okay but ,,, Philza supposedly got his wings from Mumza yeah?
