Blog of a 20-something Canadian. I love books, video games, tea, cats & nerd things. I get bored easily, and tend to have a case of wanderlust.

Nothing
There is nothing I say
nothing I can buy
there is nothing I can do
nothing I can think of
to make you love me too.
There is nothing.

One of the hardest things to struggle with as a book lover. I reckon we should all start putting $5 a month/biweekly away to prepare for such events. A little book insurance fund.
Bookworm Problems
Only buying the first book in a series because you don’t know if you’ll like it or not, but then not wanting to read it because you’re worried you’ll actually really like it and not be able to afford the rest

Bookish Asks from Literary Lion
Fitzgerald: Reading with a cup of tea or mug of hot chocolate?
Definitely tea. I love tea. A nice earl grey with some honey and cashew milk, or classic PG Tips with same, or a nice herbal/green tea. Mmmm tea. Not to say that hot chocolate doesn’t have its place, but tea is for me. ^^
Adams: Fiction or non-fiction?
I’m more of a fiction reader (fantasy and YA mostly), but I will read non-fiction from time to time. A good memoir, or biography is nice.
Cabot: Do you read in the bath?
Yes! Reading in the bath is a lovely way to relax and unwind. Add some LUSH bath products in there, and you’ve got yourself a real treat!
Kidd: Do you 'dog ear' pages?
Dear god, no. What kind of savage does this to books!? I use those little sticky tabs from office supply stores, or an actual bookmark. *grumbles* Dog ear! The nerve of some people...

Libraries are places of refuge. When you’re weary of the world, tired on your feet and in your mind, go to a library.
