This Isn’t Goodbye!

Shortly after RTX 2013, a couple ladies got together and decided they wanted to do what the Achievement Hunters do. In pursuit of that ambition, they created content, hosted game nights, and formed a community. There were many twists and turns along the way (name changes, logo changes, turnover), but what remained constant was our love for our community and for our craft. Despite the upheavals, this group has a ton of great memories together.

In the past 3 years, we've released over 570 videos which have 15,800 views. We've raised over $4,500 for Extra Life, AbleGamers, and Operation Supply Drop! We've gotten a chance to meet so many great members of this community both in Game Nights and at RTX. We hosted (& co-hosted) 2 wonderful meetups at RTX. And, what we're most proud of, is that we took 9 people from all over the world, with different backgrounds and personalities, and created a family. It isn't easy, then, to close such an important chapter of our lives, but we're afraid we must. Life is unpredictable and busy, and as time went on we found ourselves less and less able to keep up with the demands of the group. And so, we must announce that The Nerd Nest as we all know it has come to an end.

As the title of this post says, though, this isn't goodbye! We're all very interested in streaming and creating YouTube content still. Several of our members will be starting solo stream careers and moving on to other fun and exciting things. And, while we're not doing things together regularly anymore, you may see us around again as a team to fundraise for our favorite charities.

Above everything else we must say thank you. Everyone reading this, everyone who's watched a video or stream of ours, everyone who's donated to a fundraiser, everyone who's spread the word about our events, and so many more - thank you. Your support has meant the world to us. We could not have done any of this without you. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them below. Nerd Nest Update - 2/2/16!

Happy Groundhog Day! Good ol' Phil did not see his shadow this morning which means Spring is on the way! Come on and celebrate with us!

Streams:

We added a new stream to our rotation this week! - Sammii will now be streaming on Thursdays at 5:30 PM CST!​ We're very excited about it and hope you can check her streams out!

Kim finished up Life is Strange this week; Zoey and Sammii had fun in Destiny; Sammii debuted her first stream with a little GTA V and Dragon Age: Inquisition; Kim played with her Titan some more; and Michael and Kim lied and killed their way through our Town of Salem Game Night! We also released some highlights from our Extra Life 2015 stream! Watch as Clare plays Assassin's Creed Syndicate for the first time!
