val velocity is a shitbaby and the only reason any of the Vs put up with him is because he’s good in a fight and the rest of them are shit. they roast him all the fucking time though.

vamos and vaya aren’t siblings and they aren’t dating. everyone thinks they’re one of the two, but nope, the matching names were an absolutely wild coincidence, and the fact that both NB folks have the NB haircut isn’t remarkable, really. they met each other in Zone Four one day when Vamos was wandering and Vaya was in a fight with some Dracs, and INSTANTLY became ride-or-die.

Vinyl is nonverbal and knows sign language. (So does Vaya; Vamos is learning and Val doesn’t care to try.) He doesn’t like acting as the Big Scary Quiet Dude but he’ll do it when Val asks

there were several more Vs earlier on. there aren’t now.

val is honestly a great shot. kind of a natural, steady hand, no hesitation. it scares the others, really. if he turned on them, they wouldn’t even see it coming.

vamos was really interested in fashion because it was a way for them to express their gender identity. vaya very slowly became just as excited about clothes and makeup as they spent time with vamos.

when vinyl has free time, he likes carving wood. it soothes him and he loves watching something take shape.

val wasn’t always so quick to attack and so unwilling to trust. that happened within the first year in the Zones. he’s never told anyone what happened and never will.

vamos and vaya were big fanfiction kids. they had a ship war once. that’s how the Wii in the Nest broke.

vinyl is really buff, obviously. half of that is from growing up in the City with parents who ran a gym and half of it is from the rest of the Vs demanding piggyback rides and fireman carries at random times. he’s so fucking good at hugging, you guys.

This is kind of a stretch, but I was re-reading TTLOTFK, and I realized Cherri is wearing a dog tag necklace in most scenes. Is it the same one that Kobra Kid is wearing in the SING music video? Did Cherri somehow get a hold of it after the killjoys death?

*thinking about the symbolism of val velocity announcing his plans to destroy the city and save the killjoys while literally standing on top of destroya’s head*

“danger days” and “mcr” are like. completely separate concepts and “fandoms” in my mind tbh. like, I have to frequently remind myself that val velocity is one of gerard way’s ocs and didn’t just spontaneous-generation into all our collective subconsciouses like a bacteria or something

uhhh *slids over a $10* honestly just party poison hcs, ya feel me?

- confides in jet star. he can tell him anything without feeling judged, and he knows jet would never spill his secrets 

- has never felt like a good enough sibling for kobra. it doesn’t matter that poison was the one running the household for years in the city, because the only thing he sees in the mirror is a failure

- would kill and die for the girl. he’d throw away everything in a heartbeat if there was even a chance of her being able to live a better life

- is surprisingly very good at comforting people. sometimes all it takes is his hand on your shoulder and you feel ten times better

- hated fun ghoul at first because he never shut up and kept making stupid jokes 

- doesn’t know any form of sign language. ghoul and jet offer to teach him all the time but he just can’t pick it up

- was never the overachieving type battery city puts on a pedestal. even as a kid, he either didn’t want to or didn’t know how to do half of his schoolwork and barely passed any of his classes

- is always cold. the air vents in the car stay shut off for whatever seat he’s sitting in

- actually he’s probably anemic

- has a long scar down the side of his face. the only people he ever lets touch it are ghoul and the girl

- his ankle is always bothering him. he sprained it one day in elementary school and it’s been weak ever since

- several times he’s been unable to run because of it and nearly got captured by SCARECROW

- can’t sing. literally just can’t sing. it sounds really bad. please don’t ever ask him to

- punches things to relieve stress. sometimes these things are people

- favorite color is red, hence the hair (he wanted a red raygun but kobra painted his first and was too stubborn to let poison match with him)

- he rarely ever sleeps at night, but when he does find a mattress to lay down on, he always falls asleep on his back with his arms tucked around his middle

- petted a coyote pup once and it changed his life for the better
