PSA: Please don't ignore Brienne's canon attraction to men, not because I don't think she wouldn't be a great lesbian character, or because there is anything wrong with being lesbian, or no need of having fantastic lesbian role models available. But if you're going to assume Brienne would like women, and I do, please don't erase who she was written to be, her past, and the importance of Renly or Jaime, even if it’s not a ship or detail you enjoy personally. I firmly feel like this is a form of bisexual erasure, even if it’s not intentional. Yes she could be changed, but does she need to be? Can we not just expand upon instead of erase? If she’s going to like women, in your headcanons, in your fanfiction, etc. Please include who she already has an attraction to. We are erased enough by not only the straight community, but by the LGBT+ community as well. We exist, and there is nothing wrong with that.
