As much as I love Shigaraki Tomura tragedy angst, I also find him such a fun and amusing character. His whole aura is depressed college dropout NEET who doesn’t give a shit about anything anymore.

Like, he first shows up by randomly barging into the USJ, crashing the party. He wants to kill All Might, maybe a couple of kids for fun, he’s so cartoonishly evil from his quirk to his design to his flippant attitude. Which I guess makes sense, cuz who else are the kids gonna fight? A shoplifter? Bicycle thief?

He retreats after getting shot four times, and his attitude is still like, ‘well, shit.’ And both his babysitter and dad just… lets him bleed out on the floor while talking. 

Next we see him recruiting for his emo band, but he’s not even really trying.

Look at him. This man does not give a flying fuck. He’s only here cuz his dad made him do this.

His talk with Stain is all cheek, to the effect of “Great Senpai, teach me your evil ways. Or whatever, help me fuck shit up,” to which Stain responds by stabbing him. Shigaraki’s reaction to that? “Oof.” Afterwards, he gets revenge by sabotaging Stain’s own emo band performance. But then he’s pissed that Stain still has more likes than him, so he goes to sulk at the mall like some teenaged mall rat.

Trash goth. So overly dramatic, pausing in the middle of a walkway to pose like a lone wolf against the world. His inner monologue that’s all “The world is bleak and human nature rots with ignorance.” 

Kamino Ward is just pure angst, though, no way around that. Then comes the Overhaul arc, and we’re back to his fun antics, which includes the most thrilling chapter of the highway revenge ambush, and he’s no longer a depressed NEET, he’s found a job: crime overlord. What a glow up.

Eddie is so funny I love him so much….. how everywhere he walks there’s a rattling noise from all of the pills in his fanny pack and he has a panic attack if anything dirty touches him, and he’s so small but he’s so full of barely contained rage that he’s this close to going completely fucking apeshit at all times if anyone even breathes. Friendly reminder, that children have romantic feelings, and can have crushes when they are young.

Showing kids in a romantic relationship is okay, and it doesn’t equal sexualization.  If you immediately associate romantic feelings with sexual attraction, you belittle not only real kid’s romantic feeling, but also asexual people. ROMANTIC =/= SEXUAL
