Be careful not to interpret planets in houses the same as planets in signs

Be careful not to confuse planets in houses with planets in signs…

I will use Mercury in 12th house and Mercury in Pisces as an example. The reason I choose this combo is because I have mercury in 12th and my father has mercury in pieces…I clearly saw how they manifest differently…

For example, my father is always confused, has a hard time remembering, needs to write things down, and always forgets where he puts them . He also hates communicates, never checks his phone and only saws one or two lines and hangs up on critical calls…

On the other hand with mercury in 12th i don’t have those issues related to my intelligence…I just find mine works best in isolation, when I’m on vacation or when I’m doing something expecting nothing in return. I also like to communicate but put my thoughts and ideas out better when I am alone (for example I will answer the phone and step away into a room by myself.)

an experience I have w people who say “I’m a ___/___ cusp” is that they are usually hiding from the fact that they wanted to be the next sign over and hate their sun sign, or that they think they have more qualities of one but are technically the other and don’t like that, so they prefer to use both as a cushion device
