Smokey's story (tw for mentions of death and a drawing of scars at the end)

I got a sorta idea for his story. He was born into two cat parents (world is a mix of anthro animals and humans). His mother cheated which is why he is a human and during his life growing up his father hated him. His father hated both him and his mother and one day tried to kill them in a house fire. Smokey adored his mother and she gave him all her love. Smokey was eight and he got severely burned in the fire but he watched his mother burn and die in that fire before he was saved by fire fighters. He was in the hospital for a long time before being sent into the foster care system and being pushed around from family to family and he never found a home. When he was an adult he hid his face from the world with the mask and lived in an apartment above his butcher shop. He still has nightmares about the fire and will wake up crying and shaking and throwing fits thinking he needed to fight his way to see his mom. This is why he's so attached to Penelope (cat that belongs to @snoob-uwu) she reminds him so so much of his mom.
