اُس کی آنکھوں پہ لٹائی ہے بصارت ہم نے

اس سے پہلے ہمیں ہر رنگ نظر آتا تھا ۔ ۔ ۔

Uski aankhon py lutai hai basarat hum ne

Uss sy pehly humen har rang nazar ata tha..

Tum mere hisse k tamam sawabon ka sila ho..

الكلمة الطَّيِّبة صدقةٌ ♡

‎العسل تُوجد حلاوته في اللِّسان، ولا تصل إلى القلب،

Honey's sweetness is found on the tongue and does not reach the heart,

‎وحلاوة الكلمة الطَّيِّبة تبدأ من اللِّسان، وتتصل بالقلب، وترسخ في النَّفس:

while the sweetness of a kind word begins on the tongue, reaches the heart, and becomes deeply rooted in the soul:

‎أصلها ثابتٌ وفرعها في السَّماء... الكلمة الطَّيِّبة صدقةٌ؛ فتصدَّقوا عباد الله.

its roots are firm, and its branches reach the sky. A kind word is charity, so be charitable, O servants of Allah.

Yousaf-e-mis'r-e-tamanna teray jalwon kay nisaar

Meri bai'daariyon ko khwaab-e-zulaikha na bana

Zauq-e-bar'baadi-e-dil ko bhi na kar tu barbaad

Dil ki ujri hui, big'ri hui duniya na bana

- You are the Joseph of the Egypt of my desires, who spread your beauty

Don't make my modesty like Zulaikha's dreaming after you

Don't make the desire for ruin of the heart go to waste

Don't make the ruined and twisted world of my heart even worse

Jab tumhare paas kuch bhi baqi na rahe, tab bhi yaqeen rakhna ke tumhare paas ALLAH hai.

Even when you have nothing left, still believe that you have Allah with you.

In english we say :

I can't wait to meet you

But in urdu we say :

vasl ho jaa.e yahīñ hashr meñ kyā rakkhā hai

aaj kī baat ko kyuuñ kal pe uThā rakkhā hai

And when Mahmoud Darwish wrote;

“tumhari gair maujoodgi mein sab theek hai, siwaye mere.”

When they say :

" kuch kaam hain apni marzi ke,

kuch kaam faqat majboori hain,

phir waqat boht hi thora hai

aur saray kaam zaruri hain "

But at the end of the day you realize :

" kuchh ishq kiya kuchh kaam kiya

kaam ishq ke aade aata raha

aur ishq se kaam ulajhta raha

phir akhir tang aa kar hum ne

dono ko adhura chor diya "
