EC ROTEK VOL. 0 Ch. 8 - Kiyomi vs Divine Crusaders 3/3 (Kizito's Death)

{Kiyomi was unimpressed by Kizito's new transformation as the blood moon appeared but it has awakened Kizito's true power of the calamity phantom knight.}

{Kizito dropped a miniature sized anti cosmic ball, and it caused a ginormous nuclear explosion that blown Kiyomi far away into the ruins causing her to take critical damage and lose 80% of her blood.}

{Kiyomi ended next to the pillar coughing up blood.}

{Kizito begun his wrath towards Kiyomi and unleashed a powerful impact towards her nuking the forest and the inhabitants lifeforms causing mass destruction.}

[Several Hours Passed]

{Kiyomi was bleeding out but her stats and magic stats increased by 63%.} {However...} {Kiyomi HP decreased by 98.5% as well as her defense.} {Kiyomi was in danger and witness how powerful Kizito's true power can be.} {She stood up slowly breathing too hard suffering severe damaged wounds.} {Kizito descended behind Kiyomi and shown a darkened menacing expression.} {Kiyomi was in disbelief and feared by Kizito.}

Kiyomi: "He's so fast!"

Kizito: You should have killed me when you had the chance, now look at you, weak and vulnerable. Kiyomi: "I have to find a way out of here!" {Kizito obliterated Kizito along with the forest destroying the entire forest completely.}

[240 Minutes Later]

{Kiyomi was close to dying...} {Until She Arrived Just In Time.} {Kimiko Sakamoto.} {Kizito was in disbelief seeing Kimiko arrived and growled at her.}

Kizito: No! Not You! Why the hell are you here of all times!? Kimiko: To put scum like you in the depths of fiery hell, you may have escaped from the king, but I will not show any mercy. Kiyomi: K...Kimiko... Kizito: The old man was nothing but a fool who chose to be a peacemaker showing sympathy, now look at him, DEAD!

{Kimiko unsheathed the Ifrit Katana and wield it with her very own two hands lifting it above her head as the normal flames grew massive and evolved to crown flames.} {Kiyomi was shocked sensing Kimiko's tremendous aura and power.} {Kimiko's aura was overwhelming that Kizito was shook.}

Kimiko: Let's wrapped this up, shall we? Kizito: Just because I put your father in the casket, doesn't mean you will be a match against me! Kiyomi: Kimiko... Kimiko: Kiyomi, what happened to you best friend? Kiyomi: He is too strong...I took him on my own before he become the Calamity Phantom Knight... Kizito: I put the royal princess of her clan in her place, I treated her like a ragdoll, and put her out of commission! Kiyomi: Kimiko...run...

{Kimiko happy expression faded away and she shown her darkened expression, full of fury.}

Kiyomi: Kimiko...? Kimiko: You hurt my best friend...

{Kimiko was furious, her power was extraordinary, she increased her power, speed, and magic stats to 3% that gives her drive a 3.5% boost.} {Kimiko finished increasing her power, speed, and magic stats to 5% that gives her drive a 5% boost.} {Kizito was shocked at first, and then he proceeded to laugh maniacally showing his cocky expression.}

Kizito: HAHAHA! Kizito: Did I touch a nerve!? Kizito: Does this really mean much that hurting a weak heroine by my raw power!? Kizito: Well too bad, when I'm done with you, I will commit genocide by ripping her body in ha-

{As soon as Kizito was about to finish his sentence...} {Kimiko landed ahead of him and unsheathed the Ifrit Katana slowly.} {Kizito's body was sliced in half, 99% of his blood spilled out of his body and splattered on the ground causing a puddle of blood, and then his body was burn to complete ashes slowly killing him.}

Kizito: NO!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!! I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE INVINCIBLE! THE STRONGEST THERE IS!

{Kizito charges towards Kimiko full speed ahead letting out a terrifying roar very desperate to succeed in his objective.}

Kizito: I AM THE STRONGEST! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

{Kizito's body burned to ashes after his fist was close to Kimiko's heart.} {Kizito was deceased.} {Kiyomi passed out unconsciously before Kimiko healed her wound with flames in a half-hour.}

Kimiko: I should take you to the sky realm and let you rest there.

{Kimiko summoned her griffin and transported to inside of the realm of the sky.}

[Meanwhile In The Realm Of Hell]

{The mysterious figure who sits on his own throne was unfazed that his alliance have fallen in the matter of minutes.}

???: "Impressive, but the Divine Crusaders of nothing but my subjects, the lowest rank of the underworld, defeated by a mere demon."

???: "Let's change that shall we?"

{The mysterious man grinned and snaped his fingers to activate the blood moon curse.}

[Back To Kiyomi]

{The Blue sky was getting dark, turning into red, as the blood moon makes its appearance.}

{The blood moon effected the fallen Divine Crusaders giving them a unknown power boost that made them as strong as Kiyomi's normal state.}

{The special effects are, they are indestructible against wind type heroes and their power increased to 100%.}

{However, their weakness is water type and dark wind type heroes.}

{Kiyomi was shocked and felt uneasy feeling the pressure coming from the same enemies she cut to pieces because the Divine Crusaders regenerated their body parts that were sliced to pieces, a modification added to their arsenals called devil drive.}

{They surrounded Kiyomi one by one catching her off-guard before trapping her in a massive barrier.}

Kiyomi: What the-

{Kiyomi tried breaking the barrier with her wind katana, but it didn't budge nor break.}

{The divine crusaders eyes glow blank bright red, their aura turned into dark red aura, as they unleashed a powerful summon awakening the Silver Armored Golem Knight.}

{The Silver Armored Golem Knight unsheathed his silver hammer at Kiyomi's abdomen crushing her bones, Kiyomi eyes widen and she started coughing up blood, but the Silver Armored Golem Knight pulled out the skull bow and nuclear arrows from his inventory and launched the devil arrow at Kiyomi causing a massive nuke destroying the Barrier.}

{Kiyomi screamed in internal pain taking a massive dose of damage sending her flying into the forest.}

[Time Passed]

{Kiyomi freed herself from the massive rubble with the powerful whirlpool despite her wounds 58% damaged and blood dripping from her abdomen, back and her left arm.}

Kiyomi???: . . .

{Kiyomi raised her hands pulling out her new weapon the bow of the Phantom Demon Crow and the dark wind arrows as her aura expanded larger than before, the Silver Eagle and Golden Hawk unite as one to become one of the most powerful mythical creature in the overworld...} {The Phantom Demon Crow Of The Wind/Storms!} {Kiyomi opened her seafoam green and purple eyes, her seafoam/violet hair, her clothes changed, her green/white sneakers changed to dark green/dark purple/black, the halo above her head called Phantom's Crown.}

{Phantom's Crown is the halo that is worn by the phantom queen who bring fear into those who challenged and have fallen to her wrath.}

{Kiyomi's eyes resemble the Phantom Queen, she turned her wind sword to the Phantom Katana.}

{She unsheathed the Phantom Katana slowly as the dark and wind combined together begins to cause the wind to blow too hard and too fast that the Divine Crusaders to be terrified by her new power.}

Kiyomi???: You want to take this fight to heart...?

Kiyomi???: You want to show off and send the NPC to the frontlines...?

Kiyomi???: Fine then, I'll show you what it really means...

Kiyomi???: To be a swordsman!

{Kiyomi teleported so fast and then reappeared in front of them unsheathing her Phantom Katana slowly.}

Kiyomi???: Annihilate.

{Kiyomi unsheathed her phantom katana as the Divine Crusaders were decapitated.}

{The Silver Armored Golem was in disbelief seeing how terrifying Kiyomi can be.}

{Until the Divine Knight appeared, but he blown up the Silver Armored Golem to huge pieces of rocks.}

{But the Divine Knight unsheathed his devil blade and points it at Kiyomi giving her a darkened expression.}

{Kiyomi was unfazed, however, the Divine Knight was triggered by her nonchalant expression.}

???: Tch, you think you have the upper hand just because you have obtained extraordinary power!?

Kiyomi???: . . .

???: I Kizito, will put you in your place, outsider.

Kiyomi???: Then do your worst, you will fall like your alliance, they learned the hard way, so you're going to end up in your grave soon enough.

Kizito: You'll regret ever challenging me, a phantom knight, you poser!"

{Kizito charges towards Kiyomi full speed ahead and swings his devil blade at Kiyomi, but she dodged his attack in slow motion.}

{He was shocked and fell doing a somersault on the ground close.}

Kizito: "Did she dodge my attack?!"

Kizito: "But how!?"

Kizito: "Hmph, I bet she will not able to dodge this!"

{Kizito launched millions of black lightning arrows at Kiyomi to cause multiple of explosions.}

{But, Kiyomi was unfazed and then looked up at Kizito showing her fearless expression.}

Kiyomi???: . . .

Kizito: "Impossible!"

Kizito: "I will have to go on the offensive and destroy her!"

Kiyomi???: . . .

{Kiyomi gets in battle stance again, but, Kizito launched black storm at Kiyomi, then used black cosmic flare to obliterate Kiyomi directly, and lastly, he launched black cosmic sphere to attack Kiyomi directly causing a massive explosion.}

{Kiyomi took a huge dose of damage getting caught in the crossfires.}

[15 Minutes Later]

{Kizito descended and begin to laugh maniacally being confident that he finally landed a few hits on Kiyomi...}

Kizito: I finally did it, the wind elemental warrior is no more!!!

Kiyomi: Did you really think you could have a chance of killing me...?

{Kizito gasped in shock and then showed a darkened expression growling at Kiyomi in frustration.}

Kizito: How the hell are you alive!?

Kiyomi: I have to admit, those attacks really got me, but it wasn't enough to kill me.

Kizito: You may have survive my spells, but this spell will eviscerate you from existence!

{Kizito charged towards Kiyomi to hit her with the punch of death.}

{Kiyomi sheathed her Phantom Katana to put it away, closed her eyes slowly, moved her head to the right to evade his attack, and then punched him in the gut really hard breaking his bones.}

{Kizito shaking a lot but he tried to punch Kiyomi again, but Kiyomi kneed him in the back, and then kicked him in the face really hard sending him down to the ground close to the wall.}

{Kizito got on his knees coughing up a huge amount of blood.}

{Kizito growling at Kiyomi and gets up slowly as his vision become blurry.}

Kiyomi???: Is that the best you can do?

Kizito: Y-You...!!!

Kiyomi???: This is pathetic, you really believe a so called phantom demon like you can defeat me a demon who possesses the power of the Phantom Queen?

Kizito: How dare you a demon outsider like you disrespect me, are you really underestimating me!?

Kiyomi???: Me underestimating you?

Kiyomi???: An amateur demon from the netherworld like myself is being challenged by a high rank demon from the Phantom Realm like you started the ambush and you were suppose to be on this operation to assassinate me...

Kiyomi???: You said you were going to put me in my place, right!?

Kiyomi???: At the end of the day, you have failed your mission to annihilate me, like I said to you before...

Kiyomi???: You will fall, I will put you in your grave, your death will be far worse than your alliance...

Kizito: Fall? ME !? FALL TO A MERE LOWER RANK DEMON LIKE YOU!?

Kizito: I will not be defeated...

Kizito: I refused to accept defeat...

{Kizito had a darkened expression and clenched his fists too tight and blood dripping from his fists.}

Kizito: Damn it...

Kizito: DAMN IT!!!

{Kizito letting out the most terrifying roar that causes the ground to rumble heavily.}

{His body was shinning bright red and white transforming into his final form...}

{The Calamity Phantom Knight!}

{Kizito's body was giant, his eyes black/blood red, and his phantom blade changed into the calamity blade.}

{His Power ranks above Kiyomi's new power.}

{Kiyomi eyes widened seeing Kizito's wrathful power brings terror in the hearts of heroes who have fallen to him.}

EC ROTEK Vol. 0 Ch. 6 - Kiyomi vs The Divine Crusaders 1/6

[5 Weeks Later]

{Kiyomi served breakfast for herself since the emperor, queen, king, guardians, royal guards, knights, casters, healers, and archers are in the meeting to conquer the waves in the underworld.}

{Ask for the 4th Elemental Warrior, she is in the underworld to search for the legendary sword that is created by the infinite mythical creature Ifrit (Deity Of Chaos) to claim it herself.}

{Many fire elemental warriors of her generation have not pulled the sword out of the pedestal, the temperature was one hundred thousand degrees, those that took on the legendary challenge were deceased by the number one dangerous lava where the legendary sword is located.}

{However, the 4th elemental warrior named Kimiko Sakamoto was the last fire elemental warrior of her race, she pulled the legendary sword out of its pedestal, despite suffering major burns, injuries, and scars.}

{Kimiko raised the legendary sword in the air with pride and conquered the flames of the underworld on her own without her mother's orders (The Crimson Queen of the Sakamoto Kingdom) and succeeded on such a intensive quest.}

[Meanwhile]

{Kiyomi finished her breakfast and then washed the dishes on her own. After that, she was ambushed by Divine Crusaders outside of the Sakamoto Kingdom. The Divine Crusaders are the lowest rank divine unit that are not as strong as the current Elemental Warriors but they can be a threat to humanity.}

{Divine Crusaders carry weapons such as swords, daggers, and shields.}

{Kiyomi realized the total amount of the horde of The Divine Crusaders is 1 Million.}

Kiyomi: "This will end shortly."

{Kiyomi said thinking to herself.}

[Several Hours Later]

{Kiyomi lost 12% of her blood as she is standing still above the 1 Million corpses of the Divine Crusaders.}

EC ROTEK Vol 0 Ch. 5: Ayumu vs God of Serpents (FINAL)

[Realm of the Dead] (Aoki arrived on the mountaintop of the volcano, Jenoka, named after the dragon king, the ruler of the most dangerous volcano in the realm.) (The God of Serpents arise from the shadows looking down at Aoki launching a fast black lightning tail whip attack at him, Aoki was shocked of how fast The God of Serpents moved its tail, until Kiyomi saved Aoki in time and got flung through walls and into the ceiling.) "Kiyomi!!!" "I'm impressed, foolish demon like her put herself to the frontlines, and protected you." "Pathetic, weakness disgusts me." [Time Passed] (Aoki was at his limit holding back, but The God of Serpents brutally wrecked Aoki's ribs, spine, abdomen, and chest.) (Aoki stands up slowly breathing heavily holding his punctured ribs and then The God of Serpents unleashed the black flamethrower of deadly venom.)

(Aoki eyes widened and pushes the deadly blast back at him but got engulfed in flames getting nuked screaming in pain and agony.) "DAMN IT!!!" [Timed Passed] (Aoki was on the floor, his clothes were 82% torn, he couldn't move due to the deadly venom in his body.) (The God of Serpents turned away and slithered towards Kiyomi and lifted her up before opening his mouth to devour her.) (Aoki eyes widened and starts banging on the venom barrier, he was trapped in.) "Please don't hurt Kiyomi, I'll do anything, just don't hurt her!" (Aoki freaking out swinging his blade trying to break the barrier crying.) "I don't care what happens to me..." "Just don't kill her!!!" (The God of Serpents swallowed her whole.) (Ayumu eyes become pale feeling devastated.) "No!!!" "KIYOMI!!!!!!!!" (Aoki screaming in anger crying harder unable to control the dark rage absorbed the deadly venom, shattered the barrier, and transformed into corrupted version of his new form.) [Time Passed] (The God of Serpents was in awe, that his same attack didn't affect Aoki.)

(Aoki equipped a new weapon called Blade of Corruption and sliced his head off as Kiyomi's body falls out of his body and into the ocean.) (Kiyomi's youngest sister saved her and kept her safe away from the battle.) "I see." "This is what you become..." "She is precious to you." "If that's the case, then this will get interesting-" (Aoki cuts him off by swinging the Blade of Corruption at fast pace of speed.) (The God of Serpent dodged it fast enough to regenerate.) [Timed Passed] (Aoki opened his mouth unleashed a deadly cannon which can overpower any attack at close range, mid-range, and from a far distance.) (The God of Serpent got obliterated taking a massive dose of damage.) (The God of Serpent regeneration was slowing down; he couldn't risk attack Aoki until his regeneration process is complete.) "You are indeed powerful even for a brat like you..." "..." "You will not come out of this realm alive, brat." "..." "You will be drowned in deep despair-" "Silence." "What did you say!?" "I said silence, because you won't get any sympathy from me." "I was a coward..." "I was afraid of what will happen to me..." "If I snap." "You don't have the moral high ground anymore." (Aoki created an exact creation of the black vortex but massive, it can destroy cities, counties, and even states in a matter of seconds.) (The God of Serpents was feared by Aoki's immense power, creating a black vortex that can come close to destroying a whole country.) (However, he did not back down and created a black cosmic cannon that is planetary after revealing his godly transformation which was his final form.) "I refuse to lose to a demon that is beneath the Deities who are planetary." "You are not planetary; you are just a demon that is a filthy peasant!" "Your uncle is above you, crying over your dead father, how can you beat him as you are now!?" "..." "My uncle's purpose of killing father, what is his purpose?" "Like I will betray my creator!" "I see." "Then, I have to kill you." "I will show you no mercy!!!" [Timed Passed] (The God of Serpents was bleeding out; Aoki was covered in blood but still unfazed.) "I couldn't defeat you, your wounds are completely damaged, but here you are standing against me, immortal god." "You have my gratitude." (Aoki was shocked seeing him fully recover Kiyomi's wounds.) (Aoki puts his hand down and reverted to his normal state.) (The deadly venom poisoned his body, and Aoki was about to die.) (Kiyomi woke up freaking out about to cry seeing Aoki's body full of venom.) "Oh no!" "Aoki please don't die!!!" "You can't die on me!" (The God of Serpents skin shed slowly along with anaconda beast skin.) (He revealed that his name is Kibujimu, the god of serpents, and creator of venom.) (His dead skin melted by the poisonous flames.) (Kibujimu opened the locked gate to the human world, but he couldn't cure Aoki since his body is 100% affected by the deadly venom in his body including his core.) (However, Kiyomi absorbed Kibujimu using her new ability devour, which can devour a powerful foe worthy of the commander's choosing.) (Kiyomi eyes glow a mixture of green/yellow, extracted the deadly venom from Aoki's body, also, Kiyomi made some adjustments by balancing the venom in Aoki's body.) (Finally, Kiyomi placed vines around Aoki's body and cured his wounds for 6 hours.) (Kiyomi's sisters was shocked seeing Aoki's wounds sealed and completely healed.) (Kiyomi discarded her vines and carried Aoki on her back and entered the gate to the human world with her sisters.) (TO BE CONTINUED)

Well Without Water

In our latest Longreads essay, a running tap in prison pushes Michael Fischer into a dangerous obsession with water waste. 

Whatever time you’re reading this, whatever year, somewhere in America��all over America—a faucet is running in a prison bathroom, to hide the sounds of a man masturbating. He’s in the Boom Boom Room: the handicap stall at the end of the row, spacious enough to drag a plastic chair in behind him, as a desk for his magazine and anything else he’s brought. The stall closest to the sink, with the big faucet handles and the tap wide open.
