Okay so here me out here, werewolf Shelby and monster slayer who is also secretly a vampire Katherine au.

They both live in a very superstitious town in fear of the creatures and beasts around them. Shelby lived in the forest not too far from the town, that isolation allowed her to get bitten, and through the fear and misconception of what werewolves are she is terrified. The curse takes over her making her do things she regrets. Now though as she visits the town seeing posters wanting her head she is worse imagining what strong hunter is after her. Katherine meanwhile she was bitten by a vampire when she was young, but she's different! Unlike all the other vampires she fights for good, she protects her town by hunting the beasts that threaten it. People cannot know her secret though, she has to prove herself first! She has to slay the werewolf mindlessly hurting the people of her town.

They meet accidentally in the middle of the night while Shelby is fighting a transformation and Katherine is drinking the blood of some cattle. Both of them have a wall separating them hiding the truth and they comfort each other. They eventually truely meet each other both oblivious of what the other is, but feeling a sort of instinctual dislike. Despite that they help each other, Shelby lying about being human and helping Katherine hunt her without giving it away, meanwhile they both start falling for each other.

Joey finds out the truth about Shelby and threatens her, forcing her to give him things in return of keeping her secret safe. Eventually she attacks Joey in her werewolf form in front of Katherine and in a state of betrayal and staying face she locks Shelby away to be executed. However a guard approaches her, someone she knows, Sausage, but he's a little different from before, he sounds different, but he frees her! She's okay, but now as she was betrayed and hurt by her home not even given a voice to explain herself... She wants vengeance
