Hood River, Oregon by by Dylan Taylor Photography
Via Flickr:
I sat on the shore observing the cold still morning. I noticed a Bald Eagle land in the tree directly in front of me (if you look closely you can see it). I waited for it to fly off so I could capture it in flight but it continued to stay in the tree. The fog began to grow thicker and roll in quickly over the water. It was a cold tranquil scene.

A Bachelor at night? Not quite but not far off the mark. This is wonderful shot of Mt Tumalo in Oregon, just north east of Mt Bachelor. Superb imagery by @jpsmith_photo (at Tumalo, Oregon)
