Credits to Ashley Callingbull on this.
So apparently her post on this got deleted by Facebook because of butthurt people. I’m glad i took a screenshot of her post before it got deleted because there are a lot of people who still needs to get it in their heads that our culture is not a costume, do not make fun of our culture, don’t make fun of our way of life. It’s just disrespectful, in my opinion at least.

L. Frank Baum was a firm advocate of genocide. The creator of the Wizard of Oz said Native Americans were “despicable beings” who “should die [rather] than live the miserable wretches that they are.”

Day 9 of #inktober2020
Advice: You never know who will show up to a dance and how dangerous the shadows really are.
There are stories told about men who dance with beautiful women in the dark, that she chooses not to go into the firelight. When they think they're going to get lucky, they say they feel her tail and her hooves when she walks. They call her a devil.

Day 5 of #inktober2020
Advice: Temptation almost always leads to trauma.
There are so many stories within the Navajo and surrounding communities about the do's and dont's of running across the coyote. But I picked the spookiest story for this prompt.
P.S. Skinwalkers aren't until the 30th.

my artwork is probably in the majority of the houses on the rez since the clinic has been putting it on everything from water bottles, to fridge magnets, and even on the labels they stick on people’s prescription meds
