honestly I haven't thought abt it in that way, I like to think that kusuke just finally moved on

I know there's no clue as to how Kusuo died in that Au, but I like to assume that Kusuke just accidentally killed him in one of his games

Following this idea, i think that Kusuke was thinking all the time about himself, about his mistake, about how much he regrets it, about how he misses his brother, about ways to make him come back, and that kind of things, all out of desperation and the need for his little brother to come back

He was so focused on how he felt that he never thought about how Kusuo would feel.

in this universe he is dead so it's not like he can feel much jakdjqd but when kusuo visited that universe and kusuke saw him, he had time to rethink everything again, like why he is doing the time machine and what kusuo would want

Kusuo would like to know that his brother started a third world war just because of one of his inventions that he created in order to revive him??? he doesn't think so

his brother just wants to rest, in peace if possible

and kusuke is so tired and wants some rest of this too, so he just * poof * moved on

Obviously it was more complicated than how I said it here, he wont let go that easily so obviously it was a long and complicated process but he was finally able to overcome it🥳🥳🥳

now that I'm reading this again it feels like a fanfic......
