Nathan, from Nathan’s Words, last words
Yo, I’m Nathan, from Nathan’s Words, and this just might be my last post ever. If I could I would probably continue writing in this blog. Alas, all good things must come to an end. This creative writing class has been one of the most fun classes I’ve taken in high school. Too bad that the cool teacher of this cool class is leaving her cool students, and I will have to abandon this blog. Sharing my love for video games through this blog has been quite the enjoyable experience. I might continue this blog on my own time over the summer, but I don’t know if I’ll even remember to. However, I will continue to play games that intrigue me over the summer break, and who knows whether I’ll be posting about these games over the summer. If I were able to, I would continue this blog, but I don’t think my schedule would allow me to. Over the summer I’ll be busy hopefully tutoring little kids, or studying how to code.
So if I remember this blog I'll try to update it. Doing this blog was honestly a lot of fun. Being able to talk to loads of people about something I'm passionate about really enjoyable. I hope that if I remember to continue this, I would be able to get those who didn't even think about playing games to play them. I hope they would be able to understand how good of a medium they are to express all kinds of feelings, and hopefully when I get to make games, my feelings will also be clearly conveyed through them.

Little Nathan
Yo, I'm Nathan, from Nathan's Words writing on my block. This time I'll be writing about someone that inspires me. The people that inspire me are my uncles. Both of them are joining the military. One of them is actually already in the Army, the other one is still going through training to join the navy. But, the reason they inspire me is because of how much of an impact they both have on my life. The uncle that is going through training, let's call him Marvin, was the one who gave me my favorite game ever, Pokemon SoulSilver. I have so many fond memories of that game, from getting my feraligatr from Professor Elm, to climbing Mt.Silver to fight the ultimate trainer. Both of my uncles have done so much for me, that I could say that I wouldn’t be who I am without them. They got me to start playing games, they got me to start watching anime, they got me to start working out, these are just a few of the things that they’ve done to shape me into the person I am. Its because of them that I am who I am now.

Hunting Monsters
Tumblr media
Yo, I'm Nathan, from Nathan's Words writing on my blog, Nathan's Words. Today I'm gonna talk about a game I got recently called Monster Hunter Rise. I got it on my Nintendo Switch because I've really been busy lately. Having a game like this on the go will at least keep me company while I'm on break. It's my first game in the Monster Hunter series. I've heard some things about it, mostly negative, so I was a little hesitant to get it. But, now after a couple of hours of playing, the game isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's actually really good. Something about running around a small map, gathering materials, making cool looking gear, and fighting huge monsters, is just so satisfying. It's like the game scratches an itch that I never knew that I had. There's also an option to play co-op locally or over the internet. My other friend, Karvin, got it today and we played a little. Sadly we didn't have enough time to finish the hunt, but the little time we had to play was pretty fun. The game can get a little grindy at some moments, but fighting the monsters, to me at least, feels more like fun than work.

I'm chilling in my car
Ds in my hands
I'm not going far
But my ds takes me to other lands
First I'm in Sinnoh
Strolling through the snow
Fighting this chick named Candice
The battle was a piece of art put it on a canvas
Now I'm in a kart
Luigi in the front
Went off the ramp with a stunt
I think I let out a fart.
Stomping on some goombas
Kicking a bunch of koopas
These mushrooms just love to snitch
Princess Peach looks like a creepy witch
Back in my car
Not going far
I'm out of the zone
My parents left me in the car alone

A word from this weeks guest: Jedric from I Wanna Rock
As a guest in William's blog. I have to say, I felt quite nostalgic. Especially when it comes to Pokemon. My favorite Pokemon would have to be Poliwag, but all Pokemon are amazing. If I were to ask all of you about this blog something, it would be this. What video game brings the most memories back to you? For me it would have to be Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars. I had it on the Wii, through the digital console thing. I am a retro gamer, so most of the games I play are pretty old. I play games from the Nintendo Entertainment System, to the Nintendo 64, and some Sega. Most people say video games are a waste of time, but they take you into another world. Video games immerse you into a new fantasy world, especially if they have a great storyline. Video games aren't just movies that you can interact with, they are a way to escape from reality. Video game soundtracks are what makes video games unique in their own way. Even a song can tell a story, it all matters on what key, or tempo it is. For example, the soundtrack for Sonic The Hedgehog literally take you into the world of Sonic. Video games are stories that you can control and interact with. That is what makes them unique.

Nathan In Love With Gay Italian Man?????
Yo, I’m Nathan from Nathan’s Words. I’m back here again on tumblr writing about games as you know by now. This time I’ll be writing about a game that I started over this past spring break called Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. This game is the first game that I’ve played in the Dragon Quest series. I’ve always wanted to get into the Dragon Quest series so I’m glad that I finally got to play a Dragon Quest game. This game quickly became one of my favorite JRPGs that I’ve played, and maybe even one of my favorite games ever. I currently have over 50 hours put into the game. It has so many things that reel you in and keep you playing. The characters are really fun and the story can get really emotional. Even some of the quests that seem like filer content can have a lot of emotion packed into them. The enemies are fun to fight because they are all very expressive and fun to fight. Your teammates all have a big impact on the story at certain points of the story. My favorite character is this really super duper gay Italian circus man named Sylvando. The game doesn’t straight up tell you that he’s gay, but instead heavily implies that he’s gay. In the game he calls a lot of people darling and has a lot of feminine mannerisms. He also runs a really flashy band of boys called the Soldiers of Smile. They all adopt his mannerisms and it is heavily implied that they are also gay. But, his gayness is besides the point, the reason I love him so much is how much energy he brings to everything it does. Even his voice actor sounds like he has a lot of fun playing him. It’s pretty boring hearing me talk about Sylvando, so I suggest you play Dragon Quest XI yourself to experience characters like Sylvando. Nathan out.

Conversation
Karvin likes games?
Nathan: Why do you like games?
Karvin: I got into games really early on. The stories and game play of certain games kept me playing them.
