Logan, at his core, is a protector.

I've only watched a few X-men movies but X-Men (2000)? Logan risked his life for Rogue. Days of the Future Past? Logan risked his life to time travel and save everyone. The Wolverine (2013)? Logan was living in isolation, a caveman if you're nasty, but beat up the guy who harmed a BEAR. In Japan, he was so adamant on protecting Mariko even though he was not brought there to be her bodyguard.

Logan (2017) had a cynical reluctant Logan but he went on to protect Laura and die to save mutant children. Deadpool and Wolverine (2024)? Destroyed a steel door and held Wade's hand to save the world.

In every universe, every version of Logan, even the worst one, wants to protect someone.

Bonus: I can picture Wade protecting himself just fine from assassins but goes on to tie himself up because "It makes Logan happy when he rescues me,"

I think they should've done a spiderman kiss gag in deadpool and wolverine. maybe wade gets impaled on something and he's upside down and he rolls up his mask and puckers his lips at logan. I also think they should've had wild sex on screen but that's a whole different post

Marvel really needs to take more advantage of X-men it’s literally one of their best and most interesting series and it’s never used or it’s rushed and unfinished. I just want more X-men.

Also I’m sick of Jean Grey being the main character all the time, there’s so many cool characters.

Watching Star Wars was a mistake. For years I’ve derived so much pleasure from seeing discourse on my timeline that’s like “it’s actually a pretty good writing choice that Glimbo Knutts manipulated the imbledimbians in the force to make Darth Freeble his personal jedi froogler. It gives the original trilogy more depth” and not knowing what the fuck anybody is talking about. But now I do and it’s ruined.
