That other anon again-What I'd like to add as well is if any person is sad that their character isn't listened on this "like list" shouldn't be sad because that doesn't mean they are bad or do not fulfill any of these criterias(in many cases)because in the end it's also a matter of taste. Since there are good ocs out there who implement those criterias on the list but aren't listened there. Additionally there are some people out there who cannot be objective and also add that to their preference
Well said, anon! Please don’t feel discouraged if your OC was not on that list. Our personal favorites aren’t necessarily indicative of the value of your character. There are a huge number of factors that go into what OCs we like, and yes, some of that undeniably comes down to personal preference.
It’s also a huge possibility that we don’t know about some of the characters that do have much of the criteria I mentioned in that previous post (and so I’d highly encourage you to submit these OCs!) and our list of favorites absolutely should not be held to a heavy standard. Our opinions should not be a deciding factor in your happiness, so please don’t let that list affect you.

Note
Just to make that clear for myself; you posted a list for reasons you like the ocs you listed - Are all of these listened points needed "to be liked" by the mods or only some of them? Because there are ocs listened which in my view do not have an independed story or whatsoever but are on the list of "liked".
Hi there anon, Mod Hisui here!
I’d like to apologize for any confusion on this matter. I was the one who wrote the entire response, so the majority of the thoughts on it are mine, but I did consult the other mods on basic aspects they like to see in OCs and then I elaborated on it. Of course there are exceptions to these and much of it does end up being a matter of preference, so you’re absolutely free to disagree with anything and everything we say if you so wish. Nothing we say is law, we’re just here sharing our thoughts and views, and if they happen to contradict what I said in that previous post, it’s not the end of the world. Those are just some things we look for and like to see, but not every single character that we like has to abide by those ideas.
I’m sorry that you seem to be confused by the previous post, so I hope this clears things up!

Can you do a pairing guide for Sasuke? I doing a fanfiction that is set in part 2 canon that builds up the foundation for a relationship for my oc and Sasuke and then make a sequel fic in the blank period where they actually fall in love because for me it's unrealistic for Sasuke to be with anyone in the canon story because he's so obsessed with revenge
Hi anon! So so sorry for the super long wait! We’ve got quite a long response, from multiple mods, to hopefully accommodate for the delay. Since the response got so lengthy, It’ll be under the cut:
Mod Hisui:
I think you seem to be aware of the biggest issues with pairing with Sasuke: he’s so obsessed with his revenge that romance is damn near impossible within the canon storyline. You’ve also already decided to have the romance happen during the blank period, which I think is a wise decision. You didn’t give a lot of details, so I’m wondering:
When did they meet? Where is your OC from? That would play a big part in their relationship, because of the context of the whole Uchiha clan massacre. How much do they know about him prior to actually meeting?
Once they’ve met, what exactly is their relationship? Do they only meet in passing every now and then coincidentally, or does your OC join up with him and Team Taka?
How romantic do you want them to end up being? Honestly I have a very difficult time seeing him in any romantic relationship at all, so if you want them to be very romantic, there should be a VERY gradual buildup.
A few things I would caution you against:
I don’t think it would be wise to go the route of your OC being one of Orochimaru’s experiments, unless they’re part of Team Taka. Even so, Sasuke gathered that team because he believed them to be useful to him in reaching his goal, and while he values them more than he would value an acquaintance, I don’t think he would see them in much of a romantic light due to how he’s assigned them somewhat of a professional role rather than one of friendship.
Don’t make your OC ignore his looks just for the sake of being “different from his crazy fangirls.” In context, he seems to be so handsome that it’s not really easy to ignore. Unless your OC is the type to not pay attention to physical attraction, of course, but it has to fit with their character. But still, I don’t think Sasuke would value your OC more for ignoring his looks.
Sasuke would probably like someone who lets him be when he needs time alone. Clingy is NOT the way to go here. Conversely, someone who argues with or contradicts him would likely put him off too. The way I see it, the two would need to be able to peacefully coexist, and while precise communication is usually a vital part of a relationship, I think Sasuke would respond best to someone who understands him without him needing to explain himself. Trust him to do what he needs, but also have enough concern for him to not let him go COMPLETELY off the deep end.
Pairing with Sasuke WELL is extremely difficult. Your character will probably need to be very complex, and it’s definitely a good idea for them to have a motive of their own, rather than just aimlessly following him and what he wants. Don’t let your OC just be a follower, make sure that they’re equals, but your OC will have to earn his respect, which isn’t an easy feat.
Mod Nagi
I completely agree with you, pairing with Sasuke during the canon is extremely difficult since he’s so fixated on revenge.
The period I recommend pairing with Sasuke is after post 4th Ninja War. I imagine that during Sasuke’s travels he could potentially meet your OC? Or if they’ve already encountered each other temporarily in part 2, then they can meet again several years later. It’s up to you as to how you want this relationship but I imagine Sasuke to be much different after the war. Regarding relationships, I still don’t see him craving a romantic relationship immediately but rather he would meet someone and develop a slow-burn trustworthy bond with him would be great and more realistic. You also have to keep in mind that he does want to keep the Uchiha legacy ongoing so he could potentially bring up the topic of children, but only if he’s able to see your OC as a life-long partner.
Mod Shin
In my honest opinion, Sasuke is the hardest character to pair with in the Naruto series. He is arguably one of the most complex, fleshed-out characters to have ever come from Kishimoto as much of Sasuke’s character is gathered through context. There is more to him than initially lead on to be, surprisingly. I know it can be hard to analyze Sasuke’s character as a whole since even Kishimoto/the anime at times will portray him as nothing more than an “emo asshole” whose desire for revenge clouds his better judgement, but this doesn’t explain who he is as a whole. While it is important to who he is as a person, I don’t believe this is the only defining feature of Sasuke. To effectively pair with Sasuke, and to honestly just understand his character in general, you have to look past him as a person and understand the entirety of his life.
You need to have a clear understanding of the Uchiha clan, their history, their relationship with Konohagakure, and the events that lead up to the massacre. I know this is a lot, and I would very gladly go into detail about this for you, but this post is already incredibly long and we would honestly be here all day if I did that. So, I highly suggest looking at other analyses and think pieces that go into detail about all of the above in order to not only gain a better understanding of Sasuke but to also form your own opinion on how to effectively pair with him.
Since you didn’t give much detail about your character, and the other mods already gave very good feedback, I am going to try to keep this as broad as possible while also slightly touching on some of what they mentioned. Before I do that, though, I just want to say you’re already on the right track with pairing as I genuinely believe that the Blank Period is the only time in Sasuke’s life that it would be plausible to be shipped with. Now, onto some of my own cautions and advice when it comes to pairing with him:
Since you intend on writing fanfiction, I highly suggest making these pieces the slowest slow-burn fic the fandom has ever seen. I think it’s excellent that you chose to hold off on their romance until the Blank Period, but in all honesty, I think you should continue to hold off on it so you can keep building up their relationship. This is your story, so of course you can write it any way you want, but with the Blank Period essentially being the first time in his life he isn’t driven by revenge, it opens up many opportunities for your character react with him in ways not possible in Shippuden. I would say this is one of the best ways to help characterize Sasuke, as if you leap into their relationship too fast he’ll become incredibly out-of-character.
There are very few people that Sasuke has a genuine relationship with in his life, and even less so with those he can trust. Your character will have to not only prove themselves as worthy and reliable to him in Shippuden, but also as someone who Sasuke is able to trust. It will take time, and you will have to have legitimate reasonings for everything said above.
That being said, the few positive relationship that Sasuke does have are incredibly important to him. While your character doesn’t have to be on the same level as his relationship with Team Taka or Naruto, they will have to greatly impact his life in a way that makes him want to actually have a relationship with your character. Taking a look at his interactions and feelings towards Naruto, Team Taka, Itachi, Orochimaru, and whoever else is present in his life is a good way to judge how he’s going to treat your character based on their personality.
Sasuke, without a doubt, is a very traumatized individual, and it’s very clear that he has some form of PTSD. While I don’t suggest going into full detail on these things if you don’t have a clear, defined understanding of what they are, it should be prominent that Sasuke is heavily affected by everything that’s happened in his life. If you intend for him to fully open up to your character, they need to be someone who’s able to handle these negative emotions as well as someone who understands boundaries of when to comfort him or when to leave him be. You should only write about this when you feel that their relationship has reached a point where Sasuke can safely and assuredly express these negative feelings.
I know this last one is rather obvious, but i’ve seen a countless number of people characterize Sasuke as either of these two things, so I have to blatantly point out that Sasuke is neither emotionless nor emotional. It is going to take time for Sasuke to open up to your character, even after he trusts them, but that does not make him emotionless; likewise, when Sasuke does begin to open up to them, he is not going to let them know everything at once and will more than likely not have a mental breakdown about it, so he will not suddenly become over emotional. It can be difficult to write a character that isn’t one to show emotion often, so my best advice to you, especially as a writer, is to heavily rely on body language to portray Sasuke’s thoughts and feelings. While this is vital when writing every kind of character, I believe it’s the most important when writing about a character like Sasuke. This makes it so that Sasuke doesn’t seem emotionless, and it allows you to write how he’s feeling without him actually expressing them himself.

Hello!
Much apologies for the lack of activity but the reason we haven’t been posting anything is because we haven’t been getting any asks/submissions in the past month — hence why we have stayed quiet. Also a small reminder that most of us mods are in college and we are wrapping up our fall semester so we prioritized our irl responsibilities over this blog. Now whats the reason you guys like the OCs you listed? :)
That’s quite a lot of OCs you would want us to explain, so I’ll provide a list of criteria that we judge by on what we enjoy about OCs in general:
A good design: It’s no surprise that a lot of judgement of characters comes from how they look– it’s just human nature. We like to see characters whose colors work well together, whose design elements work well with both the overall series, as well as their specific location or village or affiliation, and it’s great to see extra thought put into them like adding specific symbolism or motifs into their designs. That’s not to say they must be attractive. They can be conventionally hideous, but if their design is interesting and intriguing and most importantly: well thought out, that’s something we love to see.
An independent story: while pairing with canons and interacting with canon plot is good fun, we think it’s very important that the character is able to exist on their own, and be strong and grow on their own, even if they were not involved in the canon plotline. Does the character have a life outside of their relationships (canon characters, or other OCs)? Do they have substantial character arcs where they can learn and develop? Ask yourself, do they have an identity outside of what we all already know in canon?
Consistency: Characters that contradict themselves are bound to have issues. A cold-hearted loner character who blushes and falls in love immediately at the first sight of Gaara? Not only is that confusing, but it’s entirely contradictory to the character’s original characterization. Regardless of how much work has been put into that character, it will most likely appear to be haphazardly thrown together if things don’t match up. A consistent character is even more appealing when small details aren’t forgotten, and the character seems truly integrated into their own story, and parts of their history aren’t thrown away and forgotten later on. For example, if a character always wanted to get a dog as a child but was never allowed to, that would make it even more satisfying when they get a dog when they’re older. Of course this shouldn’t be a defining character trait, nor should people just add these things for the hell of it, but it’s always a nice touch to see things follow through as a story progresses.
Clear effort: With many characters, it’s easy to see the long hours a creator has put into developing their characters. Maybe they show is a progression of their original design to their current one, or maybe they’ve been around for years and we can truly see that development in real-time. Whatever way, being able to see that someone truly loves their characters and puts their passion into their writing or their art or both is a wonderful quality that we love to see.
The unexpected: We love to be surprised. Whether it’s because your character is paired with a canon character that is rarely paired with, or there’s an unusual component of their design, or they’ve got a unique story, we’re always attracted to things we don’t expect. That’s not to say that you should do something you don’t like just for the shock factor, but it gets tiring seeing similar things over and over. There’s something to be said about the appeal of originality, but at the same time, originality isn’t everything. The whole thing ends up being a nasty debate but from my perspective? Don’t be afraid to take inspiration from others, but never take things exactly as they are from others. For example, maybe you like a design element of someone else’s character. What can you derive from that element that gives you the same feeling, but isn’t a copy? Try to analyze what exactly you like about it, and then think about how you can make that your own, without just blindly taking them. Chances are that if you think you might be copying someone, you probably are. So what can you do to get rid of that feeling?
I apologize for how long this got– I definitely didn’t mean to make it so long, but I got carried away and it got way out of hand. I personally wrote this, but I did also consult some of the other mods. If there are things you want elaboration on, such as one specific point of this, or perhaps a specific character from the previous ask, perhaps from the mod who chose that character, let us know and we’ll be happy to explain.

Naruto OC Review for TiaTam Chinatsu’s Bio
review under the cut
GENERAL
When we say “Time Frame,” we are referring to when exactly in canon their story is taking place. For example, your OC’s story (for this review) seems to be taking place Post-Boruto, while another OC might be focused in Kakashi’s era, or the Sannin’s, etc.
I enjoy her design quite a bit. Her colors work well together, though admittedly they do feel more Konoha-styled than Suna. I’ll give you leeway on that though only because of the time period and how designs modernized and have become less indicative of where the character comes from in Boruto.
PERSONALITY
Admittedly, I’m a little concerned about her mood swings and her being bipolar. Do you consider this to be related to any clinically defined bipolar disorder kind of condition? I know this can be a sensitive topic to many and I don’t want any trouble to come out of it. From the description you provided, it doesn’t seem like her mood swings all too much, but more that she has a tendency to act needlessly aggressive or jealous when the situation doesn’t necessarily call for it. I want to caution you against using the term “bipolar” unless you truly want to look into bipolar disorder and other related conditions, and even so it doesn’t seem to me like her mood swings all that much because it appears to be that she’s very focused and always in that state of frustration and stubbornness.
I definitely want to see how her personality changes over time. How does she learn to ask for help? Does she learn to stop comparing herself to the people around her? Things like that. I’m guessing some of these will be answered later as I read more about her, but where you have described her is great in the sense that there’s a lot of potential and room for her to grow.
RELATIONSHIPS
Like with her personality, I think there’s a lot more to know about her relationships with her family. I want to know how their relationship will change over the course of her story, and I want to know the other characters’ perspectives. How does Gaara feel about her acting like she doesn’t care about him? He’s not super perceptive of things like that, so that would be an interesting angle to explore. Do any of her family members see how she’s faking things and see through to the fact that she does in fact care about her family, and is only acting out of self-doubt or stubbornness? I think many of these relationships can be elaborated on as the story continues, but at the moment this is all I can say.
NINJA INFO
I don’t have any complaints here about her stats. They seem fairly balanced but there’s not much to discuss.
In the future, maybe you could throw out some ideas you were considering for her techniques? I understand the feeling of not really having any concrete concepts, but I’ll suggest a few things for you to consider:
You mentioned magnet release, so here’s a helpful post about Magnet Release, as well as one about the third Kazekage (thank you mod nagi). Keep in mind that Magnet Release isn’t necessarily exclusive to a single clan-- or even just to Suna-- so you have quite a bit of room to work with this.
As Gaara’s daughter, she’s also related to Temari and Kankuro. I think puppetry is a viable direction for her to go in, especially if you want the lightning chakra nature to come into play. As for Temari, you said you want her other nature to be wind, and that could definitely work with Temari’s tessenjutsu. I also think either of these could work in combination with magnet release, so maybe she uses the fans to spread the particles which she controls, or maybe the puppets she uses are composed of whatever substance she is using magnet release to control.
HISTORY
Unfortunately I can’t say much about her history since there’s nothing for me to look at. I do definitely want to know more about her and how her story plays out, though. I’ll give you some things I want to see or get answers to:
How, if at all, does she overcome her inferiority complex? How and when does she figure out that nobody was really ignoring her or against her? How does she react to this?
Tell me more about her obsessive cousin Sora, please. Who or what is she obsessed with and why?
Some context on Gaara and Akira would be nice to see, just to get an idea of where the story came from. How does their parenting affect the way Chinatsu’s personality turned out? Does any of it have to do with Gaara being Kazekage, similar to how Boruto resents Naruto?
What efforts have people made to get her to realize they aren’t ignoring her? Why is she so resistant to believing this? What exactly made her inferiority complex get so out of control?
There are a few exceptions to that anger and inferiority mindset, but that’s what makes it confusing to me. The way she wants to cuddle with her brother and how drastically different she acts when she’s around Natsumi. Why exactly is it so different for them? I’m definitely hesitant about this aspect of her personality, so any reasoning you can provide will help
How does she meet the Aburame sisters and Himawari, since they’re likely from different villages?
Who is her Sensei? What is their relationship like?

We apologize for any inactivity! Our personal lives have gotten a little bit in the way and we have been slow, but still alive!I don’t know what you mean by closure, but I get a feeling that there is some degree of drama and conflict here, and this is most certainly NOT the place to bring it. This is not a drama-friendly place, and we want no trouble on this blog, so I suggest you look for this closure elsewhere, with the people involved in whatever you are having trouble with. Thank you

what are each mod's opinions on canon x oc ships?
mod nagiI really really enjoy canon x oc ships when they are done well, especially if one is able to pull it off with a problematic character. Pairing with a canon character adds a lot of characterization and development for one’s oc and it creates a stronger connection between the OC and the Naruto realm. I do encourage that canon characters should be relatively kept in character because that’s what makes the relationship dynamic more interesting and challenging. Like for example, Sasuke — he’s definitely a challenging one and it’s no fun if he just drops everything on his mind for an OC, it should rather be a more collective effort on the OC’s part to hone Sasuke’s attention (as that’s how Sakura did it)To me, I see canon x oc pairings not only as a self indulgence, but also as a form of character study because maybe the oc creator wanted to flesh out the canon character further due to kishimoto’s lack of it.I definitely don’t see any reason to hate canon x oc pairings though, even the out of character ones because the creator is doing it for their own enjoyment.
mod shinMuch like everyone else, I’m incredibly fond of the concept of canon x oc. I think it’s a fantastic creative outlet that allows for people to not only create an original character but for them to also be able to interact with their favorite character more. I personally enjoy seeing what people come up with in terms of their character and how it affects the canon. Honestly, even the “bad” canon x oc’s are fun and enjoyable to look at. It’s honestly disappointing to see the widespread dislike for it especially outside the more “popular” fandoms, but as of late I’ve seen more and more of them, which makes me incredibly happy. All in all, if you’re debating on making a canon x oc for any fandom, I say go for it.
mod koiI’m actually a big fan of oc x canon pairings! I love to see what people come up with and how they understand, analyze and capture the canon characters finding themselves in romantic situations that, maybe, weren’t explored in the canon storyline (which is a common occurrence considering Kishimoto isn’t exactly big on romance.) I also think it’s a great exercise to improve as a writer/creator as the main goal with oc/canon pairings is to keep the canon character recognizable, or, in other words, in character. This can be tricky because, as stated earlier, most of the time we don’t know for sure how a canon character would act in a relationship as we don’t always have the character’s behaviour to guide ourselves from if they never were romantically involved with anyone in the series. All in all, I think it’s a fun, creative way to analyze the canon characters, learn about what differentiates a one-dimensional character from a three-dimensional one, involve our fanmade characters with the series they were created for, and practice writing about couples with romantic development, the last being something the series lacked in.
mod hisuiI think OC x Canon is great, when done properly. Ordinarily while I think it’s important to make all aspects of your OC fit into the canon universe, it’s doubly important when pairing with a canon character because you need to make sure that you characterize the canon in a way that does not betray how they are characterized without your OC existing. If this means you need to alter your character to fit the canon, do it. If you don’t want to change your character, then choose a different canon, or create another OC to fit them. I have quite a few OC x Canon pairings myself, and while I dislike the idea of creating a character just for the sake of pairing with that canon, it’s very important to me that the characters are compatible, and I’m not trying to force them together because that character is my favorite. It’s vital for any OC that they have a life and a purpose outside of their romantic (or even their platonic) relationships, so while pairing with a canon can be a lot of fun and can be amazing when done well, for the character to be interesting to me, they need to grow as a character outside of the pairing, and if you took away the pairing, they would still be an interesting character.
mod mariaI think it’s a fun way to explore canon characters you like. Digging in their personality deeper and being involved in their lives. Having that headcanon about your favorite characters, how would they get into relationship with someone gives that thrilling, heartpounding experience.
mod piaI very much enjoy canon x oc ships! Most of the time, when people are creating their ocs, it is because they want to get involved in the world that they are making their characters for. I think one of the easiest and most fun ways to do this is to pair off your character with a canon one. It’s really fun to look at a bunch of ocs and see how they meet, interact with, and eventually get together with canon characters. It adds a lot of dimension to characters that are already present and helps solidify your character within the fandom’s world.

Naruto OC Review for dianathedoglover of her OC Yamiko Hamasaki Bio: http://narutooriginals.wikia.com/wiki/Yamiko_Hamasaki
Review under the cut
General
On first glance, I enjoy that she’s a “hybrid” of two clans (sorry for the word choice) The fact that Yamiko has ties to both villages during the early regular Naruto timeline could hold a lot of potential for possible family feuds, since Sunagakure and Konohagakure didn’t get along during classic Naruto.
Although you didn’t fill out our provided template, it’s okay I’m not upset at that. Her wiki page is neatly laid out, but her information is a bit disorganized. Upon first read of your OC’s bio, I was a bit confused at how you formatted the History and Personality sections. Her childhood history is filled out in the right section, yet anything that happens after her childhood is in the Personality section. It would be very helpful if you placed all the important background context in the history/background and keep the personality section short, but concise.
Another small concern of mine is how rapidly you introduced new characters during the rest of Yamiko’s background history. I understand you know each character very well in your head so it might be easier to read for you, but if a complete stranger that has no idea who your ocs are will find this extremely hard to read. A small suggestion here is to clearly state who you are introducing (maybe with a hyperlink to their reference) and what their relationship with Yamiko is, but keep that brief since full out relationships should be described in the relationship section.
I’m assuming she lived in Konoha for all her childhood, but you should also clearly state that in the beginning of the background section. It would help if you clarified whether the family lived in Sunagakure or Konohagakure since they are tied to both lands. To expand on this, you could also go into depth of how many times did Yamiko visit Sunagakure and what were her feelings towards a different environment.
Personality
Personality wise, it’s realistic and believable through her childhood. I really like how environment gives a huge impact on Yamiko’s personality as well as the ongoing interaction with her friends. But just a suggestion, you might want to try to dig deeper into her character, such as how she behaves when she’s around her friends, compared to when she’s with complete stranger. Also other characteristics to consider are her attitude, professionalism, and temperance during missions, formal meetings, and family interactions.
Now that I have finished reading her bio, it makes sense that there are no direct family feuds since both her parents were possible killed in action when Yamiko was 6. But a suggestion, just to flesh out her background more, would be to establish what the relationship was between Yamiko’s konoha relatives and her suna relatives. It can possibly create a diverging dynamic that could possibly be a motivation for Yamiko.
Relationships
One interesting part in here is how Yamiko interacts with the Inuzuka clan, especially with Kiba’s family. I am assuming Tsume became a mother figure for Yamiko, which is a very influential role in parenting. To the extent of my own knowledge, Tsume was known to be very strict and impatient, so how did this impact her relationship with Yamiko? And it would be better too if you could dig deeper about her relationship with Kiba and Hana as well. Here are some questions to consider:
What makes Tsume accepting Yamiko into her family?
What values does she taught her?
How did Kiba and Yamiko decide to get over their inconveniences ?
How did Yamiko actually feel around Kiba’s family? Was she happy with them or would she rather want the company of her biological parents?
What improvement / development did she have with Kiba’s family?
Overall, I really wanted to see a little bit more background context of how Yamiko and her closest friends became so close to each other and why she was really attached to them. Keeping them in bullet/points for each character would be easier for readers to catch up. There's a lot of room for improvements in this part and hopefully we can get to know more in the future.
Ninja Info
As far as I look through the databook stats, her scores are balanced and the improvement is very noticeable, which is a good sign. I will elaborate more on this in the ability section.
History
Having both active shinobi parents and often taken care under neighbors during her childhood, but how her mother putting high expectations on her is quite ironic to me since her parents weren't present for her during time when she needed them the most. I assume they trained her during their free time. I hope you can elaborate more about the family economic situation, about how they do their parenting, about her training with them, or at least to know how Yamiko felt when her parents weren't around and how she felt about her parents treatments.
I noticed you mention about how Yamiko trained harder after her parents loss, which kind of makes me wonder, was she trained by someone or with anyone at that time? I would consider that it's kind of difficult if she trained herself alone, considering how young she was. Also in addition, how did she endure the pain after losing her parents? Were there any people comforting her and helping her go through it, and essentially moving on? There's a lot of possibility and important potential roles to fill in her childhood history.
Appearance
Yamiko’s overall design is neatly done and very consistent throughout the timeline. The way you apply the mesh into her outfits are placed not merely as “accessory”, but also improving the practical aspects of it.
Her natural hair and skin colors are very flexible to mix-match with any colors you apply on her. I strongly believe the dark blue-purple tone match her perfectly. Not that I’m not a fan of pop / bright colors, but I think dark colors blend her into Naruto universe perfectly — especially during missions which requires stealthiness and the ability to blend in with their surroundings.
Ability
According to her ninja stats, Yamiko has high scores in genjutsu, therefore I am assumed she's talented in that field. However, the techniques I’ve seen so far from her revolve around ninjutsu, which is quite concerning to me. It would be super helpful if you fixed this anomaly or give more background information behind it.
I would like you to explicate further with her Kurogan as I am not really familiar with it, I’m also assuming this is a fanmake kekkei genkai. The process of awakening or activating and the intention of Kurogan wasn't very clear so far, which makes sense because you stated that not many members of the Hamasaki clan awaked it, For the sake of a character profile though, it is important to list the Kurogan’s weakness and limitations so people can understand what kind of dojutsu this is how it differs from other popular dojutsu (Sharingan, Byakugan, etc).
Each characters has their own special or signature techniques. Which one of Yamiko's ability is her signature, or most commonly used technique? Or at least the ones she often used during battle (for example, Naruto had rasengan used most of the time).
Summary: Yamiko has a lot of potential and room to improve in every aspects possible. It's totally understandable since her profile wasn't completed yet. I would suggest to take the questions I have suggested for you and think about them, critically, in order to solidify Yamiko’s character.

Naruto OC review for kakashianko of her oc — Botan Hatake Botan’s Bio
review under the cut
General
Botan Hatake appears to be a solid character, with a well thought out story. Even so, the rationality behind some choices that are made by some characters seems to be a little unexplained to me, leading to some slight confusion. A few things occur in her life without much explanation as to why. (I have marked these with an exclamation point further on.) With some slight tweaking and clarification, however, this character will be good as gold.
Appearance
I would have loved to see a colored in reference of this character, although I do get the gist of her general design from the included image. Her design is very simple, but feels appropriate. The shoes look unique but still fit in with the theme.
I am unsure on if she acts as a Konoha nin once she moves to the village, but if so, does she change her mission uniform?
Personality
She appears (for the most part) to be a very dependable kunoichi, and one that would be capable of mentally handling many situations.
I am unsure of how to take the fact that she is considered “extremely level headed” but below that, it says that her weakness is that she will do things that are considered extremely detrimental to her wellbeing in order to get people to trust her. In my opinion these personality traits are conflicting and don’t make much sense. (!)
Her personality seems to be slightly one-dimensional, with her descriptions just focusing on battles and sternness. The fact that she “squeaks while her face turns red” on rare occasions seems as though it was added in as sort of an afterthought in order to give her more than one emotion.
If she is hard to fluster, why would her first instinct be to “squeak and go red” right away? In my opinion, it would make more sense for a cool, calm, collected character such as herself to act a little bit more in control of such emotions, maybe denying her embarrassment while she blushes.
Relationships
I very much enjoy the fact that she and Tobirama did not end up falling head-over-heels in love with each other right as they were arranged to be married. I enjoy that it was a slower process.
The relationship she has with her parents seems mostly very believable and realistic for someone in her situation. I do however, have one specific question.
Why would her father give up his heir, the next in line to run the clan, in order to make peace with Konohagakure? There is no way that she would be able to run the clan whilst also located in a foreign village with the Hokage as her husband. (!)
At what age was she sent off to marry Tobirama? I don’t believe age was discussed when talking about any milestones in her life.
I also appreciate the fact that her love life was not perfect, and that her husband DID eventually perish. It creates more depth to the situation of her being pregnant at the time, making for some real thought as to how she would cope with the situation. I like that she eventually did “move on” but never really forgot about her first husband.
Ninja Info
I feel as though this character is talked about as being a very strong, skilled ninja, but whilst looking at her stats, all I seem to notice is very average skills. They’re solid stats, but nothing in my mind that pushes me to say “wow!” like all of the characters in this storyline are seeming to do.
Why is this character considered to be amazing in the ninja world, other than the fact that she is the heir to her clan? (!)
If she is well versed in kenjutsu, as I am lead to believe due to the fact that it is mentioned that she does well with a tanto and other weapons, it might benefit including that in the ninja stat’s section.
Also, if she is using ninja weapons such as tanto, I feel like it wouldn’t be much use if her ninja strength is really at a 1 out of 5. I would suggest either raising that number or rethinking what methods she uses to fight.
What method does she use to be a sensory type ninja? I know she can sense chakra, but what ability of hers enables her to do this? (!)
History
Although I very much enjoy the idea of the Hatake clan stemming from Kumogakure, therefore explaining their lightning nature, it doesn’t really make much sense to me as to how that would work out from my own standpoint. If Botan is the first Hatake to end up in Konohagakure, during Hashi/Tobirama’s period, how does it become an actual clan based out of Konohagakure in future generations instead of continuing to be a Kumogakure based clan? Especially since her children are only half-Hatake and the lineage would be very diluted before it go to, say, Kakashi’s era. (!)
What happens to Botan’s home after Tobirama is murdered? (I’m assuming you’re going with the normal history of him being murdered by Kinkaku and the Kinkaku force, from Kumo?) I feel as though tensions would be high with her in Konoha, as even though KInkaku was considered a criminal at this time, he was still a Kumo nin. Is her new husband from Konoha? Or somewhere else? Was she treated differently by the villagers if she did stay in Konoha?
Is she allowed to work as a ninja from Konoha, or even though she is living in Konoha, is she still a Kumo nin?
Once Botan marries Tobirama, does the alliance get put back into place
Does Botan eventually become the head of the clan?
