I was going to make a whole post about Zexion's Re:CoM battle that was super long but it's so much so this post is just going to be about his stance.

He stands very strangely, sort of hunched with his arms pulled back. His books (3 of them) float around him. He looks cornered and poised to do... anything a cornered being might do.

The reason this is so strange is because in his kh2fm fight, he stands in a completely different way: back straight, book in hand. Confident and powerful.

considering they went through the effort to give Riku signs of a wrist injury, I'm choosing to believe that he's holding himself like that in Re:CoM because, well, he is sort of in a cornered and desperate situation but primarily because Riku already injured him.

It's a pretty devastating blow, Riku winds up and goes for a huge cross-body slash that cripples Zexion. I don't blame him for avoiding a fight in GBA CoM.

But in Re:CoM he takes the injury and goes for a fight anyway?? One of the most challenging battles Riku has to contend with in the campaign and it's with someone who's already taken a massive surprise attack. And not only that, after the fight, he doesn't just start disappearing like a lot of Org members do, he takes a SECOND massive slash attack. and then he STILL doesn't die, he runs away and someone has to finish him off. he's like the hardiest organization member in that way.

so what I'm saying is Zexion's even more powerful than people give him credit for and his shitty defense and hp stats in 358/2 Days mayyyy not be accurate
