This is why Lion King remake failed with their cgi lions today. Aslan is a disney lion they made years ago. Look at the complexity in Aslan’s mouth and eyes. Look at that slowly squinting glare and slowly frowning mouth. Subtle movements showing his frustration at the witch. You can see how he feels. When he moves around there is weight to his cgi. Lion king cgi there is no weight to simba jumping around. I don’t know how they fucked up this badly for Lion King. Aslan was there before this. They could of dug out Aslan clips to study how they made Aslan expressive.

(Real lions have expressions and Aslan looks more realistic than the Lion king film).

Peter: Medicine

Aspired to be a general surgeon after witnessing so many men die in agony on the battlefield

Unbothered by blood and gore (he fought wars, after all)

Pursuing medicine complements his passion for math and science

A rare breed in his profession at the time. He:

Sees the person, not the disease

Treats nurses with respect, referring to them as “my angels”

Excellent bedside manner; loved by staff and patients

Very approachable and always willing to sit down and teach nurses/med students/families

Develops gallows humor after being around death so much, which has also heightened awareness of his own mortality

Learned the rudiments of medicine in Narnia, and was often seen ministering to fallen/wounded troops

The High King, Lord of Cair Paravel, and Knight of the most noble order of the Lion

He wasn’t prepared. The expectations the kingdom held for him was too much to bear. In all his years, he was told of his place of what he’d become and the only thing he’d perfected was to appear to hold himself together.

It was never the same after the incident. He was never right. The attempt may have failed but incapacitating the High King may as well be as good as him dead. He needs to be strong. He needs to be at the forefront of the nation’s defense. He needs to lead.
