This has been a pretty bad year for me health-wise, and writing has helped me to get through the worst of it, so I don't think people realize just how much this means to me, but it means A LOT.

AsoiafFanfiction Awards voting closes on December 28th at 11:30 PM UTC

r/AsoiafFanfiction Awards Voting stage for the 2024/25 season began on December 1st and will close on Saturday, December 28th at 11:30 PM UTC (which is LITTLE OVER TWO DAYS FROM NOW!!!) and I am on pins and needles here. How am I supposed to survive the suspense? I am writing for a little over a year for ASOIAF, not yet 2 years total, and my fics were nominated in *multiple* categories *and* I was nominated for Best Author too 😭 (Not that I expect to win, but still, the suspense is killing me!)

r/TheCitadel has their awards too, and a fic or two of mine are nominated over there as well, but the nomination process was too complicated for a simple person like me and no transparency, so there's little for me to stress about (and I am not liked on that sub anyway🥺).
