This is just my opinion and speculation + i'm pretty pro-bonaparte as a person, so take this with a grain of salt lol I notice how Napoleon would sometimes praise and talk good about someone to everyone except for said person he's happy with. Maybe i've read too little sources, but it's something i've noticed and would love to have it elaborated on by someone with more emotional intelligence and knowledge than me. The Napoleonic community surprised me for how mature it is: I've never experienced a single time the insufferable stanning of historical figures that I have experienced in the frev one with Robespierre and Saint-Just, for instance.

I feel like Napoblr is more educated and aware about Napoleon and what him and their faves in general did of positive and controversial.

I cannot relate to any Napoleonic era figure like Napoleon, Murat or Davout for example. Why? Because if I was one of them, I would absolutely go crazy over Józef Poniatowski.

I would constantly send him hundreds of love letters and bouquets, break into his home every night as an attempt to get into his bed and terrorise him by showering his face with kisses. No matter how much he would kick me and push me away, I would always come back to confess my love for him for millionth time in the craziest, stupidest way possible. Poor lad would be forced to literally kill me, otherwise I wouldn’t stop oppressing his peace with my love and obsession for him.

Other than Waterloo and some others there aren't a lot of... good napoleon movies. Any recommendations because I'm truly baffled by the lack of movies in general, but especially good, complex and original ones about this man. Any recommendations? Also absolutely want to take the matter into my own hands and make my own NCU (Napoleonic Cinematic Universe)!!
