I take Emmrich everywhere because he’s my romance option, but also because I think it’s hilarious to take professor “I don’t go camping without my dressing gown and shaving kit” to the sewers of Minrathous and the middle of Arlathan forest. Not to mention the deep roads. Giving him the worst tour of Thedas ever.

Plus, it’s even funnier to take him on companion quests so it’s just Rook and their boyfriend, emotionally supporting you through your trauma.
