With the TikTok ban it means there will no longer be "Tiktok musicians" and no longer songs going viral on Tiktok to artificially boost views and no longer forced Tiktok challenges and people only hearing half a song and songs being 2:08 because they can't be longer than whatever is going to be on TikTok and "sped up" versions of songs being mainstream and fringe not nightcore music. The music industry is healing

Saying Nikki Glaser was a breath of fresh air from Jo Koy makes sense, but it's like praising The Boys if you literrally only watched Dora the Explorer. It isn't really a fair competition, considering he only had 10 days to write jokes. Or I would say that at least. When I think about Nikki set compared to Jo's, I realize I learned almost nothing about the movies or TV shows. Like Dune is long, Timotee Chalamet was in a few. And that's important because most of the jokes were based on common knowledge of what the movies were about, the actors in the area, and even references to pop culture moments. All I'm trying to say is, Jo Koy said that he spent hours watching every nominated movie to make material. Like those ten days he had? He spent most of them not even writing jokes but watching TV. Did any of that reflect in his routine??? Did it have to? Did nothing else go on the year to joke about? If he had a team, why didn't they all pool together the movies they actually watched to write jokes individually? Ten days is not a lot of time, I will give him that, but he also wasted it. And I don't think he's that funny tbh. I've actually been forced to watch some of his stand-up. And if it isn't about his Fillipina Mom, or Filipina women in general, I think it might've been about being a Dad? I just remember not laughing. Either way, Nikki did a fantastic job, but I still don't think it's completely fair to compare the two.
