              “    What ?!    No way !!    ”     The child has seen many things,   but a ghost wasn’t one of them.    Ghosts were supposed to look scary.     This boy didn’t really look all that scary.    Suspicious,   the child kneels down to wave her hand over the empty space between Hanako’s feet and the floor.    No strings.      “    B - But I haven’t been bad and I haven’t misbehaved !!    ”     Not unless you count stealing a loaf of bread just yesterday.

             There’s several blinks in response to the food just being handed to her.     She’s used to having to take,   often by force or with a stealthy manner.     Mouth agape as food is placed in her hands.       “     But I don’t have any money.    ”      Not that she’s stolen yet,  anyway.
