Namine grinned wide as she heard Rikku and put away her mp3 player back in her bag.

"Yup!" she said enthusiastically.

"So, where are we gonna go?" she asked.

She didn't care where they went as long as she got some food in her stomach since she was starving!

The dismissal bell rang promptly on time and Namine rushed out of class. She agreed to meet Rikku at the front right after school. She dodged all the students and fast-walked through the crowd. Sooner or later, she arrived exactly where Rikku had told her. She saw that the other blonde hadn't arrived yet, so she stood there waiting.

Her class is probably further away from mine. 

She took out her mp3 player and plugged in her headphones to keep her occupied as she waited for the girl.

Namine didn't have a chance to say anything as he turned his back and left off.  She would be lying if she said she wasn't disappointed, but there was nothing she could do.

Maybe it was best for her to head home. She was getting behind on her sketches and she thought she could give her Sketchbook the love it deserved.

She let out a deep breath and walked past the boy.  He had people to look forward to seeing, so she knew her absence wouldn't bother him anyways.

"Oh, well in that case, its okay. I don't need your pity." she smiled.

"I can handle myself" she crossed her arms defensively.  If he thought she was in need of something, he was wrong.

"You know...if I truely wasn't enjoying my time, I wouldn't be here right now." she said in a hushed tone.

" Sure, its not that exciting, but at least its an experience." She shrugged.

" Maybe you should go, I'm sure your friends and dates are looking for you." she said calmly.

Namine blushed at the fact that he was considering asking her to prom.  It would’ve gave her am actual reason to go in the first place.

“Yeah..” she smiled. “At least we’re both here.”  she repeated his words.

"I'm surprised you didn't have a date in the first place." she laughed.

"Same here." she sighed.

She leaned against the wall that was behind her and crossed her arms casually.

"So..um..," she hesitated, but took a deep breath to regain her confidence. "Do you not have a date?" she felt her face get hot as she asked him.

"No, Roxas." she took his hand and gave a reassuring squeeze.

"Its fine, really." she gave him a warm smile.

She released his hand and sighed.

" So, what are you looking forward to for tonight?" she said as she took a sip of her drink.

"Yeah its my first time to prom too." she gave him a smile.

"And no! its fine! it doesn't matter, it probably wont help the stain anyways." she laughed it off.

"I shouldn't have worn a white dress anyways." she shrugged.

It was at that time when heaps of people started packing in, it was starting to notice as Roxas tried to attempt...

Namine was shocked, but glad, when he dragged her out of the crowd. She didn't want to be among crazy hormonal teenagers anyways.

"Yeah, I thought I had nothing better to do." she sighed as she looked at him.

" I wanted to witness this so called 'special night' for myself." she let out a laugh.

She tilted her head and asked politely, "How are you enjoying prom so far?"

It was at that time when heaps of people started packing in, it was starting to notice as Roxas tried to attempt to cross the dance floor avoiding to be hit, stomped or crushed by anyone. He never did well in...

Namine sighed as she made her way to the refreshments section.  Going to prom was a last minute decision.  She had nothing better to do, so she thought it would be more entertaining than to stay home.  She was so wrong. She felt completely alone from the moment she walked in. On top of all of that, some clumsy idiot spilled punch on her white dress, and the worst part was that the punch was red.

She knew that the punch spilling wasn't the end of things, and at that exact moment, some other clumsy person bumped into her.

"Its okay." she audibaly sighed as she turned to face the person.

"I was waiting for something like that to happen again anyways." she gave the boy a weak smile before motioning towards the spill on her dress.

It was at that time when heaps of people started packing in, it was starting to notice as Roxas tried to attempt to cross the dance floor avoiding to be hit, stomped or crushed by anyone. He never did well in small spaces, so this was becoming a bit too much for him. He was so busy in his thoughts...

"Sure! I'd love to hang out!" Namine grinned at her offer. She was happy that she made a friend so fast.

Maybe something good came out of that survey after all. 

"Maybe we can go get some pizza after school? I usually get super hungry by then." Namine said as she rubbed her stomach playfully.

Well, Luneth. In that case, I am also out of the loop. Not that I was ever in it. Oh, and we should make a club dedicated to food. It's for everyone who decides that food is all they have left, or for anyone who just loves food. We just need a fancy name, and it might be competing with "FATS". In my opinion, food wins.

You would not understand EVEN if I could explain it Ms. Namine… All I have come to understand is that I am out of the loop in this school…

 And yes please, food would be wonderful right now…
