A trossfrau then, a landsknecht now. Knowing herself will be an outlier among the landsknechte, she must be more showy than anyone else.
Postscript: I know most people enjoy seeing a protagonist who after losing their loved ones, becomes forever haunted, walking down a path of vengeance. But in reality, that's an extremely unhealthy psychological state. It makes people increasingly obsessive and can easily lead to self-destruction.
Landsknecht-chan has a backstory of losing her beloved, which solidified her resolve to fight on the battlefield, face the same end. However, her character was gradually nurtured by fratting with the landsknechte. There might still be a trace of sorrow behind her smile, but her smugness is genuine as well. And that's what shaped Landsknecht-chan.
