Whilst the stock launcher is on and is a system app the Fire OS won't let any other launcher steal default. does anyone know if there is a way to change what launcher the home button defaults to, either through adb shell or fastboot someway. in one of the settings menus for one of the launchers it says something about "set default launcher" and when i select it to set it to new launcher it just opens the stock one.

I to have ota 5.1.1 with root and have tried to block the stock lauuncher got the same error i tried with 2 diff launchers, i havent tried to install both then disable the stock maybe it will trigger something to do with the default settings.
