Umang Taneja was born in 1964 in New Delhi, India. He went to school in New Delhi and later entered to an engineering university and became an engineer. After studies he worked as a teacher for a technical college.

He bought some books on astrology and read them himself and tried to understand why people get into such problems in their life. He started understanding how we are controlled by planet in a strange way.

He continued reading all these books and finally found a great teacher by name J. C. Luthra. He was a popular astrologist who gave brilliant predictions as to when and who become prime minister in India. Mr. Luthra had his own method in astrology. That method was called stellar astrology.

Nadi Astrology - Hindu Predictive Astrology

According to Nadi Astrology, 12th house to every house mars the significance of that house. 12th House is death, whereas Ascendant is safe.

Whereas

12th to 12th, i.e. The 11th will stop the expenses & losses

            12th from 10th i.e. 9th will separate one from the job.

Nadi Dosh in Kundali Matching

Traditionally in India in Horoscope Matching the Horoscope of the prospective bride and the bride groom’s Ashtkoot Milan is done to find out their compatibility level. In the Ashtkoot Milan Moon of both prospective bride and bridegroom is considered. None of the other 8 planets are considered for matching. There are 8 types of Gunas or Ashtkoot and some points are given to these Gunas which are as follows:

Methodology of Nadi Astrology

Nadi astrology is the Hindu predictive astrology, which has only 5 rules to pinpoint all the events of life exhaustively viz. Marriage, Childbirth, Litigation, Property & Vehicle, Health, Career, Education and Travel. Following are the rules with which predictions are done in Nadi Astrology.

Rule No.1

According to Nadi Astrology a Planet in a Horoscope is under the influence of the following three factors. It is desired to give its results in DBA keeping in view these factors.

1) Its position & the lordship of houses in the horoscope.

2) Its Nakshatra.

3) Its Sub lord.

According to Nadi Astrology Sub lord is stronger than the Nakshatra & Nakshatra is stronger than the Planet. If a planet is promising something & the Nakshatra negates, the event cannot happen. Similarly, if Sub lord negates an event promised by both Nakshatra & the Planet the event may finally not take place. On the contrary, if sub lord confirms an event, event is destined to happen. Whereas if all the Planet, Nakshatra & Sub lord join hands together the event takes place without any hurdle or difficulty.

Impact of Saturn in one’s life: What Umang Taneja says!

For common people Saturn is a scary word. I will give all the credit to Astrologers of nowadays who have presented Saturn as the dreaded planet in front of them.    Astrologically all the planets give the results of their position in House, Nakshatra and sub lord. The planets give the results of their natural significance also. They give results strongest of Sub lord and then Nakshatra and then their own position and lordship.   Now let us discuss the Natural significance of Saturn. Saturn signifies out of cast, creed and culture. It's also natural significator of property, bad health and death. Hence, in the above examples as both Sun and Saturn were signifying marriage, the marriage can take place in person of out of caste, creed or culture in the case of Saturn. Similarly, if Saturn would have signified education than native will have an interest in learning foreign languages and foreign culture.  I think there is nothing bad in that. 

  However if the Sun would have signified bad health houses and Saturn also would have signified same houses then in such a case Saturn will trouble more. I would also like to add that if Saturn does not signify bad health houses, it will not trouble health. If Saturn signifies good houses it does not create delays, disappointments etc. 

  Property is a natural significance of Saturn. Saturn will give property for sure in its dose period, even if it does not signify a house on the property. This particular feature is shared by Mars only, whereas Saturn is stronger in this context. No other planet signifies such a thing then why Saturn is considered an enemy?

Selecting an ideal Husband-Kundali Matching by Umang Taneja

  It’s a tradition in India to go for matchmaking of horoscopes of the prospective bride and bridegroom.  Parents of girl look forward for an ideal husband for their daughter and parents of boy look forward for an ideal wife for their son. Let us try to understand what should be the important things we need to check for an ideal husband or the prospective bridegroom astrologically.

  The boy in question should have 1. Long life – It is easy to understand as in India and in South East Asian countries even today the wife’s are not working. In case of widowhood there would be an additional problem of finances. More so the problem of putting up children without husband is also a problem. Also the problem of remarriage will occur in case of death of husband at the early age and fate of children would also get connected to it. In Astrology houses 1 5 9 10 11 increase longevity, whereas houses 6 8 12 and Badhak reduce longevity.

  2. Good health – The prospective bridegroom should also enjoy good health. We must analyze that the boy should not get bed ridden and should not suffer from any chronic disease at a young age. For good health houses are 1 5 9 11 and houses of bad health are 6 8 12 and 4 10.

  3. Understanding nature or good nature – Naturally the husband should take care of the wife and children after marriage. The nature of the boy is the key factor which will make the married life happy. Following aspects should be considered in the nature of the boy

          Aggressive nature: For aggressive nature check number of 7,8,12 combinations in the planets. If combination 7,8,12 appears in 4 or more planets, then the nature is aggressive. However, if it appears similar in the girl’s horoscope also then we can give a second thought to the Horoscope. The boy should not have this combination in majority of planets.

          Depression: 2,1,6,8 is a combination of depression and lack of confidence which should not appear in majority of planets. If the boy will be depressive and lacks confidence in nature you can understand it is really difficult for wife to withstand the pressure of the society and children alone.

          Sentiments: Cancer Ascendant when its Lord, Moon signifies 6,8,12 Houses or Moon in Ascendant signifying Houses 6,8,12 makes native sentimental. This cannot be matched with girl of aggressive nature. Whereas if Moon for Cancer Ascendant signifying other Houses is passable. The boy can be sentimental, but should be to a certain limit.

          Cohesive Nature: A number of 5,9,11 and also 2, 7(with 2,5,9,11) give extremely loving and caring nature. Such a husband is an ideal which has these houses in majority of planets, but not all planets as excess of everything is bad. 

          Separative tendencies: Combination 1,6,10 signifies that the native will not adjust with the wife and 1,4,10 gives dry nature. He will hardly interested in wife and even kids.

4. His /her horoscope should be positive for childbirth - Combination of childbirth are 2,5,11. Boy having 1,4,10 suggests that in the periods of planets signifying 1,4,10 native will not be able to produce children. This combination is also of impotency.

  5. Should be of good character and have good personality – The boy in question should not be interested in relations other than a wife. It will shake the relations between husband and wife and the whole house obviously. If maximum planets in the Horoscope signify 5,8,12 native undergoes extramarital affair in such periods. However, if 5,12 and 5,8 are signified then extramarital affair cannot surely happen in India and more so if 5,12 and 5,8 are signified with 9 and / or 11 physical affair other than a spouse is not possible.

6. Should have fairly good professional career and financial growth - It is desirable to see the Horoscope of the body for the profession. Houses 2,6,7,10,11 are positive for profession whereas Houses 5,8,12 are negative for the profession.
