I have never posted on here but some of you really need to get your priorities straight about the golden globes situation. Although most of the things I have seen are on Twitter, I am leaving my opinion here as well. What AMC has constantly been doing towards assad by shoving him aside is racism. Plain and simple. This is not the first time and I know it won't be the last. Now. If you are prioritizing a handful of people downplaying Sam's performance over this and going as far as not even mentioning it, you do not have your priorities in order. This is not to say that Sam should be downplayed. He is an amazing actor and deserves it. I also have been seeing people defending AMC by saying they can't be racist since they nominated Jacob and Delainey. Stop that. Do not use them being black as a gotcha against racism. It isn't a good look. Assad is not black. He is brown. Someone can be racist to one and not to another.
