Not an AU - just for fun ^o^ To help me catch up with DxP REWRITE (making good progress!), I’m finally watching my way through Demon Slayer as I draw - I’ve often thought it had a very similar vibe to Legends Arceus, though it is set in the Taishou era (early 1910’s to mid 1920’s), which is after the supposed time period of PLA, the Meiji era (late 1860’s to early 1910’s).

Just got to the Mugen Train arc - really interesting seeing design elements of old Japanese train culture & how it ties to what I can guess was Gear Station’s history (since it’s more based on Japanese subways).

The main pokemon trainer oc: Legendari's trainer class(es) is complicated...

In Legends Arceus, I could see his trainer class being Scout. Precisely because of the pokemon scouting.

Whereas in Scarlet, I would see his trainer class being Student. Because the players have to be in those school uniforms almost all the time, so logically the player characters are students.

However, Legendari has a double life: when he uses the alias Mythikus, his trainer class is Arceus' Messenger.

Just something I was thinking about today - I really love the different Trainer Classes out there, & have even invented a couple (might share in the future!) I feel like it adds to the character & to the RP part of RPG. >u<

If you didn’t know, Pokémon trainers can have different classes depending on a lot of things - occupation, Type preference, battle strategies, etc. Every region has their own set in the form of NPC’s you battle along the way. Some are gendered, but I think it very easy to just change it to suit your trainer’s identity, or just reimagine it! 🩵

If your trainer(s) have one, please comment / reblog! It’d be fun to know if I’m not the only one who has a class other than just “Pokémon Trainer” lol. XD
